I was a regular customer with my family who always ordered the same thing, Mole, Caldo de res and Alambre. Going home from a long road trip my husband wanted to stop by and have dinner, I ran inside as soon as we arrived since I needed to use the bathroom. When I arrived at the front counter I asked the owner, Mauricio, for the bathroom key. He said I think someone is using the bathroom. I said okay I’ll just wait. He said no, place your order first so you can use the restroom. I mentioned I’m waiting for my daughter and husband to walk inside as well, I’ll just wait to place our order altogether. He said you can’t use the restroom until your food order has been placed. Mind you, im a regular who was going every Saturday. He forced me walk out and never go back. He act as if I was someone off the street he’d never seen before. It was actually better, I walked across the street to try the same plates at Taqueria Tule and to my surprise the taste is better. Guess Tule Taqueria gained new customers due to this man’s poor customer service.

Friendly service and good food at fair prices. Food was out fairly quickly too. The red salsa has a kick of spiciness and is good. Machetes do tend to be on the greasier side, otherwise fully recommend.

Here is a little taste of real Oaxaca, Mexico. Unpretentious, family friendly, lots of Oaxacan people there. Great food, pictures by the menu items, great Mexican ranchera music. Plus downtown Woodburn looking pretty good!

This is THE place to eat after a good shopping day! Do try their Mole Poblano specialty on Sundays. They do the mole in house from scratch. Don’t miss the famous Machete. We had a half Carne al Albañil half Chicharron Prensado Machete and we almost wanted to order a second one. BTW! The tortillas are VERY generous.

Went to this café at the back of the supermarket. I had the me poblano, and it was super good! Generous servings with lots of flavor. The price was reasonable. I was just driving through the area, but if I ever come back, this is the place to stop for mexican food!
