This food truck is located in the Crazy Train Bar and I highly recommend it. I was super interested after seeing that they offered a Uruapan style burger. If you’ve ever been to Mexico you know they do burgers with a different touch and La Casa De las Carnitas did NOT disappoint. The burger comes with ham, pineapple, and a secret sauce that leaves you wanting more. . I also got the Papas Locas with the carne asada. They give you a hefty portion and the refried beans were a nice addition!!! They weren’t listed under the description so I was surprised, but the beans definitely balanced out the dish. There is also many different salsas to choose from. My personal favorites were the Chile de árbol and Salsa macha. I do have to warn y’all that the salsa macha is their spiciest one so if that isn’t your jam avoid it. The árbol sauce can be spicy, but there are creamy inclusions which helps counter the heat. The owners are super friendly and service was pretty quick. I can’t wait to return and try their carnitas as well as other menu items.

We had the pastor and carne asada burrito from la casa de las carnitas this evening. It was incredible! This is what a burrito should be! Excellent ingredients and well balanced. Their avocado salsa is an excellent pairing to top off an amazing burrito! Do not miss this!

We ordered two burritos. A carne asada burrito and a pastor burrito. All I have to say is, OMG! These are how burritos are supposed to be made. The best burritos we have had in Texas since moving here in 2021. Sooo delicious!

Ordered carnitas which had decent flavor but were on the salty side. Service was very friendly and fast.. it is a fast food taco truck .. nothing special about the tacos to set them apart from any other taco truck.

Went there for the first time and had a horrible experience with this place. Terrible service and it’s expensive. I ordered 2 quesadillas, chicken tenders and 4 birria tacos. 30 minutes after placing my order I get told that they didn’t have anymore of the birria meat. I ended up ordering nachos and It took another 20 minutes for nachos and chicken tenders. And an additional 10 minutes for the quesadillas to be ready. The nacho chips were stale and they barely put any cheese on them. I do not recommend this place.

Incredible experience. These are the best tacos I’ve ever had from a food truck. This is gourmet perfection. You don’t want to miss out on this experience. Come see them. I found them at crazy train bar and food truck park and was pleasantly surprised.
