Visited this restaurant in the heart of Farnham Common last night for a celebration meal with my family.
The service was wonderful and super attentive. The food was delicious. I had the Tagliata di Manzo which was cooked beautifully. We also had the Crispy pulled pork bon bon which paired perfectly with the apple puree… loved this starter!
We had La Bolognese too which was richly flavoured and delicious to the last bite. Finally, you have to try the Tiramasu which was delicately flavoured to perfectly avoid being too strong.
Oh, and the Valpolicella Classico was a great red wine for the table too.
Loved every moment of the meal and will be back.

Enter La Cantina and you are greeted like a long time friend in typical Italian fashion. The decor is clean and modern whilst not feeling austere or clinical.
The food is delicious and authentic tasting. It should be noted that the menu is not on the budget friendly end of the spectrum but is in line with its location being in an affluent area, so for myself will be reserved for special occasions.

We booked La Cantina for a big family lunch (14 of us, including two small children.) The team were very accommodating and friendly. Ordering from the set menu, the food was delicious and service was quick even for our big group. Wines and desserts were very good too.

The waitress was not particularly friendly, but more significantly, the food was pretty awful. I ordered lentils soup and monk fish. had stomach aches afterwards, and I would recommend anyone to walk five more minutes elsewhere for a better experience.

I have been coming to La Cantina Del Vino since 2008. We decided to have dinner here for my brother’s birthday. This is a family run restaurant that gives you the feeling you are eating at home. Massimo and Elizabeta make this restaurant what it is; warm, welcoming with excellent dishes served at the heart of it. The food is exceptional and this restaurant has maintained its standards throughout the years. All the dishes are worth trying but obviously not at one sitting. “Fish of the day” dishes are always a must try but I particularly enjoyed the linguine with lobster. I have been to many Italian restaurants in the U.K., but nothing compares to the atmosphere, warmth and, delectable dishes at La Cantina Del Vino.

Went here for the first time as it was recommended to me. We had a fantastic meal. All the food was good quality and delicious, I would definitely recommend the seafood linguine, crab special starter, soup and the cheeseboard along with the cheesecake. The service was exceptional, all staff were very friendly, took time to answer any questions regarding the menu. A good menu with something to satisfy everyone’s taste along with a wide range of wine and drinks. We will definitely return even though it is not that local to us. Bonus was even though it was on a main road we managed to park on the road right outside.
