Horrible like the service sucked, the waiter didn’t know any of the prices or let alone what was on the menu. The music was horrible, the price was completely OUTRAGEOUS for food and drinks, the food was cold. It was so bad my friend fell asleep. We didn’t leave because we paid to see Tony Vega.he didn’t come in till 12:11 and they said he would be on at 11pm. The sound was horrible couldn’t even hear what he was saying. Even that was a problem, they said he would be ok at 11pm and he wasn’t ok till way later. No space to walk where the tables were. Over all though a horrible experience. Don’t not recommend only reason they had a star was because I couldn’t post it with out one.

We went for a concert pay the tickets online for vip for a table and the waitress went we got to the table said to me I have to order a bottle for me to sit on the table that I got tickets so I said to her at the website it doesn’t say anything about buying a bottle bye the way it’s very expensive so I asked for the manager never came.she came back an told me it’s okay I can buy mix drinks or a bucket of beer, I told my wife we never go back there again.

My family and I had an incredibly disappointing experience at La Canchita Restaurant. We ordered four steaks on a Sunday, and to our dismay, all we received were chunks of fat instead of quality steak. It became apparent that the restaurant sources extremely poor-quality meat.
Upon complaining, the waitress offered to replace the dishes, but even after two attempts, the replacement steaks were just as terrible. To our shock, the waitress candidly admitted that the establishment doesn’t invest in good-quality meat. We were charged a whopping $165 for a dining disaster.
When I spoke to the owner, his initial response was harsh, but he eventually promised a refund. However, he conveniently started ignoring texts and failed to follow through. This entire ordeal left us with a dreadful experience, and I rate La Canchita Restaurant a dismal 0 out of 10.
In light of this, I am taking the matter to the Danbury Food Department and Consumer Affairs. I strongly discourage anyone from patronizing this restaurant.

We went there for the Alzate concert and everything was great! Starting from the greetings when you first arrive until the end of the show. Staff was friendly and security was on point. I was skeptical to go since all the negative reviews, but I’m glad I went. Definitely going back to see another show.

I saw Rata Blanca after 25 years and they sounded fantastic due to Barilari’s voice, Giardino’s guitars and this venue’s acoustics. Rata Blanca played in Connecticut for the first time in their career on Sunday, October 13th 2024 and it was an honor for me to be present for that historic moment.

I was there last Saturday attending Yiyo Sarante’s concert. It lasted maybe about an hour and the sound was terrible, I know the lirics of his songs, otherwise I wouldn’t be able to know what was he singing. Too bad because great artists perform there, but I don’t think concerts are worth to attend. Also, they could hire real bartenders, none of them knew how to make the drink I was asking for.

Went for a concert and found it to be incredibly unorganized. We had a party of 14 and the tables weren’t set for our group even though we paid for VIP seating. It was a challenge getting the drinks. Took a while. Ended up being over priced. We did order some food for while we waited for cover to begin and that was good.

I am one of a group with reservations for 20 in the VIP area during the Grupo Niche concert 11/17/18. After the initial reservation, at least 4 others bought tickets as well to join us, so together we collectively brought a minimum of $1440 in business to this establishment before buying a single drink or food item. For this we got two 3’ round tables with 6 bar stools. After the person who organized the event went to management and complained we were given another table and 2 stools. Alongside us were two tables reserved for 12, and another 2 reserved for 19. Continuous arguments with the management ruined a rare night out for me and my wife, as well as those who accompanied us. They woefully overbooked the VIP area and those of us who paid these premium tickets were packed in like sardines.
Last time we were here the concert was supposed to start at 8 and the performer didn’t show up until around 1 am. At least that time we had enough room. The band was excellent, and it was very disappointing to only get to hear them for about 40 minutes. I don’t really know why they were so late, but it’s unlikely that this was La Canchita’s fault.
To be fair, the food we ordered last time was absolutely excellent and was prepared very quickly. Just the same, I am unlikely to return, and many in our group share this sentiment.
