My husband and I dined at La Cabrera in Sunny Isles Beach for the first time, and we were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional quality of the food and the outstanding hospitality of the restaurant staff. The staff members consistently demonstrated a high level of friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism. Our server, Agustina P, was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and provided expert recommendations that helped us choose the ideal dishes for our dinner. We opted for the Blue Cheese Roquefort with French fries, a 1/2 Filet Mignon, which was the best mignon I have ever tasted in the Sunny Isles area, paired with a glass of red wine Pinot Noir Monthes Alpha. We also ordered a pear salad, which was incredibly tasty and refreshing. La Cabrera boasts a romantic atmosphere that makes the restaurant even more welcoming and cozy. We look forward to our next visit.

We have gone to this location two times and it’s always excellent. Last time we tried the Miami Spice menu for lunch and the quality and portions were exceptional. Carlos was our waiter and we got top notch treatment. We can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend coming here. Your belly will thank you.

La Cabrera Sunny Isles – An Amazing Argentinian Steakhouse Worth Visiting
Rating: ★★★★★ (10/10)
I just had the absolute pleasure of dining at this Argentinian steakhouse, and let me tell you, it was everything I was hoping to find and more. If you’ve ever been to a place that just nails it on every level—from the warm welcome to the incredible food—this is that kind of place.
From the moment I walked in, I felt like I’d stumbled upon a hidden gem. It had the same cozy and welcoming vibe that my old favorite, Las Vacas Gordas, used to have before it closed down, and honestly, I think I like this spot even more. The staff were all incredibly friendly. I got smiles and greetings from everyone, and my bartender, Joshua, made me feel right at home with some fantastic recommendations and even a complimentary appetizer.
Everything I tried was a hit. The sweetbreads were a revelation—not bread at all, but a delicious, exotic meat dish that blew me away. And of course, my usual favorites—the octopus and skirt steak—were cooked to absolute perfection. The house dipping sauce was something truly special, and even the dessert—their “panqueque”—was one of the best I’ve ever had.
This is a place that truly deserves to thrive — a reminder that great food and genuine hospitality still exist in Miami. If you’re in the Miami area, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won’t regret it!

Friends invited us for dinner. Food was good. My steak was good but I waited forever for the butter for my potatoes that it got cold and butter was not melting. My old fashion was done right as I requested unsweetened. Breads and free appetizer was good.

We were excited to come eat here, but honestly our entire meal was completely thrown off when we got our octopus dish. Not only was it over cooked, but the “1/2” portion was absolutely ridiculous. You are telling me we had to pay $38 for one piece of octopus? That alone gave me a 1 star – regardless of how the rest of my meal went. Don’t rip us off like that – your free foods don’t make up for that.

It doesn’t matter if you go to the original location in Palermo (Buenos Aires) or the ones in Sunny Isles or Coconut Grove in Miami, La Cabrera is always consistent, always delicious, it’s an easy pick for a date, a group dinner, or especially a birthday. For me is simply one of the best Argentine restaurants you can count on every single time. The meats are incredibly delicious, and the small appetizers they include really bring out those classic Argentine flavors. The traditional parrilla-style attire, the cozy atmosphere, and the great wine selection all come together to make every visit memorable.

Lovely place!! Food was excellent, our server Nahuel and hostess were very nice and friendly. We got the lunch combo for $39. If you’re a non-drinking person I recommend the ginger-mint lemonade
A must go if you’re visiting Aventura
