Mushroom Swiss burger tonight was terrible. We were frequent customers and used to come and order burger and a beer regularly. Never have we seen a burger like tonight. There were 4 hardened chunks of patty not one piece. They were so over cooked that they were hard and black. This looked like someone forgot our order so last minute threw the leftovers together. Our fries came 25 mins after we ordered and food came 45 min after that.

We hosted a Baby Shower on the 2nd floor of La Cabra in Berwyn. This was the perfect spot for my son’s baby shower. We invited old friends, moms, dads, and kids. Great seeing everyone. Natalie was wonderful helping to plan the event and order food. The staff went above and beyond. The food was fantastic, the beer was perfect and the overall atmosphere was warm with the stone fireplace. We had the whole 2nd floor which made it feel like one big family gathering filled with love and excitement for the baby on the way.

What a disappointing experience. We’ve been here several times and each time the service and Food has gotten worse and worse. Our server jamie got our drinks and our order and never came back to the table to check in or anything. I had to get up from the table to go get her to get another round of drinks because she was ignoring our table and it was NOT busy. My boyfriend and his brother got the hot chicken sandwich and it was all breading & was dry. My entree the Caesar salad with shrimp was completely dry, the shrimp was so overcooked that my fork wouldn’t even go through it and there was no egg as listed on the menu. I sent it back (through the only girl who checked on us) and they comped a round of drinks and the salad, but our server still ignored our table and never apologized until I had to wave her down for the check. When she ran our cards she slapped the checks down on the table and didn’t look at us or say anything. We were absolutely pleasant and friendly despite everything and still got treated poorly.
As someone in the industry, it’s hard for me to leave a review like this. But bare minimum wasn’t even close to what we experienced tonight.

Trying new breweries is one of our hobbies & we really enjoyed La Cabra. Plus, anything with a goat theme is aces with us! Each beer we tried was a good representation of what the style should be. I love a good Kölsch & the Leaf Tree was just that. They also had an ESB on tap (English Special Bitter) that was super tasty. The food was fabulous. I had the pulled pork & he had the brisket sandwich. We went early on a Saturday afternoon & there was no wait. Our server, Graham, was very pleasant, helpful & answered all of our questions. We plan to try their other location soon.

What a great spot! We had drove past this and noticed the open garage doors and said we had to stop in. They have nice outdoor seating but we chose to stay inside because of weather. All the workers were so attentive and friendly! The food was AMAZING. We had the brewhouse fries to start which were great however we would add a meat next time. The classic brisket sandwich was fantastic. The meat was perfect. Their Mac and cheese is a must! My husband got the hot chicken sandwich which he was very pleased with. We both enjoyed the homemade pickles and pickled onions. Beer was good and my husband liked the pineapple hipster catnip the best! Would absolutely recommend this place.

We hosted a bridal shower on the second floor of the Berwyn location. Natalie was our event planner and she was fantastic! She was very willing to work with us and was patient with our questions and request for changes as the event took shape.
The food was casual brewery food, burnt ends, egg rolls, Mac and cheese etc, it was delicious and everyone enjoyed the buffet!
Amanda was our day of event coordinator and she couldn’t have been nicer! She was available for any last minute needs and always had a smile on her face!
All of the staff we had contact with were very pleasant … I really don’t have one negative thing to say!
LaCabra is a favorite spot for our daughter and we were thrilled to be able to have her bridal shower there!!

We hosted our rehearsal lunch here with a group of 20, and it was absolutely perfect! The food was incredible, the drinks were amazing, and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. It’s a rare find—a brewery that’s not only kid-friendly but also warm, inviting, and so much fun. Highly recommend for any gathering! We plan to go back!!

Dropped by for lunch on a random weekday. Great menu including some lunch specials. Enjoyed a delicious salad. My significant other went with a burger, which she said was one of the best she’d ever had. Tried a flight of beers. Really enjoyed the Flemish red ale. The barleywine was a close second. Friendly service and comfortable dining area. I imagine it probably gets fairly crowded at peak times. We’ll definitely come back.

We just hosted a baby shower at the Berwyn location. Natalie, our event coordinator, was FANTASTIC. She was responsive to every question and provided reminders of deadlines. We selected the Brewery Bites option to start our day followed by a brunch of pulled pork, brisket, vegetable tray, Mac and cheese, rolls, corn bread and various sauces. Being from out of town Natalie suggested Clays Bakery as an option for dessert and we were very pleased. It was a snowy day and the fireplace added ambience to the celebration. We also appreciated that the food was available in both the bar area and the secondary area where the main food was offered. We elected to have ‘baby’ pictures of the parents to be displayed on the big screen. What a nice touch! THANK YOU Natalie for all your help and accommodations.
