We were going to hit Taco Bell too because we didn’t know what was in the area.
I’m so glad we chose to stop in.
The staff was friendly.
The service was fast.
The restaurant was clean and inviting.
The food was a total surprise!
We started with queso and chorizo.
She got the birria tacos
I got the Pina loca.
Amazing all 3 dishes.
The bathrooms were clean, and as always, I checked them out and will post the pics.
They speak for them self.
We will return. I recommend 100%

Growing up on the west coast I learned early on what good Mexican food was supposed to be. When I moved to NY it was disappointing to find that there weren’t many Mexican restaurants to choose from and many of them were Americanized Mexican restaurants .
La Cabaña is an oasis of authentic Mexican cuisine in a desert of authenticity. There is an extensive menu and every meal I’ve had there has been a treat, from enchiladas to chili rellenò’s and other house specials like pollo cancun. Mucho deliciouso

We were a large group of 15 and the server was very kind and accommodating with our requests. She advised us well on the menu and portions. They serve generous portions. So we actually shared our entrees one for each couple. The margaritas were delicious. Must try their strawberry margaritas.

Just gotta say, some real about Renee.went here for birthday. We talked to Renee who made the visit… birthday worthy. We went late afternoon, and not many tables had peeps. Our waitress was professional, fun, and we all clicked so well.. she gave us, a candy she put stickers on and, it seemed brought in with her own money. We felt well treated… she made my day. ❤️ when I asked what my honey tipped her. He thought he’d done good… but … we could have done better. If you get her for your server… make it up to her?

Had a great meal here. Food was well flavored and cooked. Kitchen obliged my off-menu request. Waitress was super friendly and kept on top of the table. She did we’ll juggling the multiple tables she was running for the dinner crowd. All in all I would def recommend and come back again.

Great customer service. Food phenomenal good prices, good quantity. It’s great to have something different with a bursting flavors in a small town, with limited eating options, well needed. I went once last month for the 1st time. I was not disappointed at all. In a month I’ve been here 3 more times love it food for thought

First time going, was so happy to see a non pizza/ burger place in the area. Don’t get me wrong we all love pizza and burgers, but we like all kinds of food.
Prices were on par with other Mexican restaurants we’ve been too. Portions were decent sized and tasty. I almost forgot to take pictures we were so eager to dig in to the delicious meal.
My granddaughters both want to go back!! They have asked every day since we went.
Staff was friendly and on point with checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. A definite must try if you haven’t been yet.
Dessert was meh, but I’m super picky about my cheesecake, wouldn’t recommend that bit.

Honesty great Mexican food for being far from Mexicans. Felt authentic and tasted amazing. Service was tremendous and the waitresses were always smiling. Can’t wait for them to serve margaritas. Keep up the great work.
