I really have been a fan of boulangerie since it opened and have been to every location in SF. I love the ambiance of the Noe Valley one. I love the food it’s been consistent for years but $25 for an omelette and latte but all in to-go containers and plastic silverware…come on now…that makes me drop this rating to 3 stars. The toast with it was also edges of breads or leftovers. Food just doesn’t taste the same when it’s in a box.

Good service and atmosphere.

Food was ok, but portions are pretty small for what you pay. They also gave me a dine in order with paper plates and plastic cutlery. Not sure if this is an SF thing as it’s not the first time I’ve had that, but feels really wasteful and just makes the whole experience feel a lot cheaper.

I used to love this place. Great coffee, food and ambiance. Now it’s nothing special. With so many great coffee shops in Noe, would love to see them step up their game. The almond croissant latte tasted like a normal, sweetened latte. The croque monsieur was just sad.

I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich. The service was quick and efficient. The place was clean too. They have enough space to spread out and you can even get some work done there. The music is a bit loud but I used my headphones to listen to my own music. I’m glad this place was revived. It doesn’t have the same feel as some small cafes but obviously I prefer this over the hustle and bustle of a national or international chain.

Edit: since posting over a year ago, the place has really gone downhill. The coffee and lattes are no longer drinkable (way too hot and bitter), and the staff are rushed and forgetful. The pastries are still okay, but I would expect a better experience from them.

We ordered a large matcha tea and got a short one. We ordered an Americano and never got one. We ordered a breakfast egg and cheese sandwich and it arrived late, sloppy and cold.

Great people and a lovely atmosphere. Lots of seating to both inside and outside to enjoy your coffee, pastries or even brunch/lunch.

This place is just DELICIOUS! I bought a rasberry and pistachio crossaint. to die for. I also got a vanilla latte, yum! The service is always good and fast.
