The coffee and offerings in the case were delicious but the most impressive was the service. The people working here are so warm and kind and just brighten the entire atmosphere. The spot is on the corner with sunny windows, busy but steady and still calm environment. It is in a bustling area, parking can be challenging but once you do this is a GREAT area to explore

This feels like any regular coffee shop, but you come here for the food options! Lunch was amazing and would recommend.
Free parking on the streets on Sunday. Availability is just fine.
Definitely worth checking out!

I really enjoyed the almond croissant here — flaky, rich, and just sweet enough. The coffee was satisfying, though not exceptional — I wouldn’t give it a 10/10, but it does the job. If you’re after top-tier pastries and coffee, you might find better options around the Noe Valley neighborhood. Still, a lovely place to stop by if you’re nearby.

January 2025:
Stopped by for an afternoon cup of coffee ☕. Looked at options along 24th Street and there weren’t that many places. Philz was a longer walk than I wanted. Martha Bros only offered a dark roast blend. Thankfully La Boulanerie had equator coffee beans.
Ordered a small drip with oat milk. Was very good.
Would come back again for afternoon coffee.

I stopped by one recent afternoon and ordered a delicious salad. I was impressed that virtually all the tablws were filled with customers enjoying their sandwiches and salads!

I enjoy going to this bakery/restaurant for their chia parfait and oatmeal parfaits because it’s so good and delicious. Breakfast wise is great too and there’s plenty of options to choose from their menus when it comes to breakfast. I’ve had there turkey sandwich and egg whites and sausages to choose from and my favorite is their hot teas which comes in different varieties from regular teas to organic teas and the best thing about this place is they have plenty of sitting areas and busy at all times. You can sit and enjoy your meal, read a newspaper or bring your laptop to do your work and stay as long as you want just as long you order and dine inside this restaurant/bakery. You can go no wrong with this place. The staff greets you with a friendly smile and the atmosphere is great and you can actually hear each others conversation with out the loud noises and when it’s a hot weather you can find a place to sit down outside the restaurant and enjoy your meal and watch the cute kids run or walk around with their parents. It’s a great place to just relax and enjoy your day and they don’t rush you out to leave the premises. The ambiance of this place is wonderful and as for during the weekends it’s rather busy and lines get longer, but quick service from the friendly staff. It’s a to go place for me another place for everyone/body to try and have a great time to have a great meal. You can either do take out or dine in to enjoy the company of other people. I myself prefers either way.

Edit: since posting over a year ago, the place has really gone downhill. The coffee and lattes are no longer drinkable (way too hot and bitter), and the staff are rushed and forgetful. The pastries are still okay, but I would expect a better experience from them.

This place is wonderful. Not only are their pastries flakey, buttery and fresh, but their coffee is FANTASTIC. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great place for coffee in the area. They also have a restroom inside.
Highly recommend their espresso or one of their pastries!
Parking is quite hard to find, so I would recommend uber or public transportation.

Nice spread and the goat’s cheese and kale quiche was amazing. Coffee was good, too (oat milk available). The veggie empanada and the pistachio croissant unfortunately didn’t taste as good as they sounded. Baby high chair available. Sadly, everything was served in throw-away cups and paper bags/plastic containers even though I explicitly said we’d eat in and didn’t need it wrapped. Please cut back on the trash! Other than that, can recommend.
