Pastries are very good. Only 3 stars because the staff are rude and act like you are inconveniencing them when you order (maybe trying to provide a French environment ). Very limited seating. However, again pastries are good … get to go!!

I walked by this cafe and saw that they have many good stuffs. However, I have to meet a friend at his house so I had to skip this cafe. Then when I arrived at my friend’s house, he treated me with the raspberry & pistachio croissant from La Boulangerie! Even though he kept the croissant in an unadorned ziploc bag, once it is reheated in an air fryer, it is fragrant and delicious. I love the melty, almost sauce-like center of raspberry and the nuts. Now I have a motivation to visit the shop itself!

We went in on a Saturday morning around 10:30. I ordered an almost croissant, pain au chocolate, 2 choc chip cookies, caramel latte and mocha. It was all fresh and delicious. There was a steady flow of customers. I will definitely come again when visiting.

We came expecting freshly baked pastries. Perhaps they were baked this day but they were not crispy. The almond croissant was dry and the pistachio raspberry croissant did not seem very fresh. It was a pity because we had high expectation for this french bakery. I would not go back nor recommend it.

This place has opened for long long time ago. The pastries were so good especially the >>Croque Monsieur<<. I had a coffee and orange juice also, they were super great! There is a small place and no indoor seating(only 2 small tables outside) but pretty cozy and spectacular service!!

The croissants were delicious but I am giving them a 4/5 because of the unfriendly staff. An older lady with white hair was very rude because I asked for a box (mind you I ordered 4 croissants and a baguette) and her words were “you want a box for only this?” And rolled her eyes. I appreciate good service so I dont think I will be going back here.

It’s okay… But the croissants aren’t proper flaky delicious croissants. Definitely not as good as the standard in SF. The coffee drinks don’t have latte art like the pics… If your like me and that’s telling of the drink quality. It’s okay… better than Starbucks and such, Just not as authentic as the name would suggest.

Definitely an authentic French boulangerie!! One of the best baguette sandwiches & french pastries we’ve had in a long time. It was hard to choose one or two from their list… so we ended up getting many more than we’d planned to – raspberry pistachio croissant, banana nut bread, apple cinnamon, just to name a few!! There were long lines when we went – can totally see why!! c’était fantastique!! Merci

Stopped by for breakfast on our first day in San Francisco and enjoyed fantastic quality coffee and pastries. The staff had a fun and friendly vibe. Would definitely recommend the raspberry and pistachio croissant to anybody – it was perfect! I also loved how the open plan design allows you to see the baking area, vouching for the freshness of all the goodies. 5/5
