Our first visit and it certainly will not be our last. Such great food and great service. My husband and I started with the Ricotta Miele E Noci and the Gamberi Al Limone appetizers which were absolutely delicious. For the entrees we had Strozzapreti Alla Cuccagna and Gnocchi Romani which were the best Italian food we have ever tasted. Then for dessert we had the freshly made Amaretto cake which was divine. Thanks so much for such a great meal.

Excellent and friendly service! We enjoyed our entrees of gnocchi with sausage & mushrooms & a fabulous homemade pasta dish with mushrooms & zucchini! The salads were very tasty & generous & the homemade focaccia bread was heavenly! Our dessert of apple cheesecake was beautifully presented and delicious! Please do not hesitate to make your reservation early as they book up due to such excellent and fresh homemade Italian dishes served in a lovely and welcoming environment! We’re glad we entrusted my husband’s birthday dinner to such capable professionals!

We’ve dined here about a dozen times when we lived near Venice. Unfortunately we’re on the east coast now. On many occasions we invited friends to join us. As a first generation Italian I can only highly recommend La Botte. The food is on the same level as my mom..outstanding. The service well it’s family owned so you will feel as if you are family. Each time we ate there the owner always came to our table and chatted with us. We definitely miss it.

Last night, I randomly chose La Botte to order dinner to pick up after working outside all day cleaning up debris from Hurricane Ian. All I can say is WOW! The salads and entrees were phenomenal! So delicious in fact, we dined at the bistro tonight! The bistro is small with only about 10-12 tables so make a reservation! The Cesar salad, gamberi al limone, ragu bolonaise, gnocchi gorgonzola, steak, strozzapreti Mari e Monti, cannoli , and tiramisu were top notch! Really, the best authentic Italian cuisine you will find anywhere! I wish I could eat there every night!

Worst meal tonight at La Botte! ! I asked for the Special on the menu, Mignon with walnuts and requested medium and it came out totally over cooked, like rubber! It got sent back to be redone, but by the time I received it my husband was finished with his meal??? A night to relax and have a nice meal together didn’t happen. There was no apologies and not even an offer to give my glass of wine on the house??? It wasn’t even high season so, I guess maybe they change chefs? Would not go back again! It was all reflected in our tip. Extremely dissatisfied! The mother of an excellent chef, what does it take to cook a piece of grouper and a medium steak to come out at the same time? Not rocket science!!!!

We have many good New York style Italian places, but the five members of this family from Roma provide real old country specialties, dare we say the best in Venice now?Home-made gnocchi with walnut Gorgonzola is to enjoyed very slowly in small bites. Pleasant 7-8 table trattoria with gentle music, waited by mama herself. I can reservations being important before long.

Hands down the best Italian restaurant around Venice. Everyone is so kind and the food is incredible. It’s our favorite date night spot and every meal has been amazing. The texture, the flavor, the ambiance, 10/10 every time!
