Wonderful little restaurant tucked away on a charming street! The interior is a soothing whitewash with historical wood beams as accents. There are also very quaint looking tables outside for dining in warmer weather. The service is exceptional and the food was excellent. We were served an amuse bouche of vichyssoise to start that was delicious. We followed with an excellent Mediterranean fish soup (with a perfect light roux base) and a cauliflower appetizer that was also very good.
For main courses we had the John Dory and a beet risotto. Both perfectly cooked and very tasty.
We highly recommend coming to this restaurant.

We had high hopes for Belle Étoile as it was recommended by our hotel, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The highlight of the evening was the exceptional service by Bushra — warm, attentive, and professional.

As for the food, the starters were decent but nothing memorable. The main course was a letdown — the fish was overcooked on the outside and undercooked inside. Even the bread served was very basic, lacking the quality you’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber.

Overall, aside from the great service, the dining experience fell short of expectations.

What can I say about this restaurant? It’s absolutely amazing! The food is excellent, the service is fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful.

The two ladies who run the place work incredibly hard, and it really shows. Be sure to make a reservation before going—I did mine by email, which worked perfectly.

In my opinion, this is the best place to eat in Villefranche. There are many great restaurants here, but overall, this one stands out as the best.

We loved it so much we went there twice in a week haha

AMEI o restaurante!

The location and atmosphere is great. The staff were very friendly and professional. They were great with kids.

And the food was great. The risotto, the mahi-mahi dish, the zucchini with cheese, etc were all amazing. Will definitely go back again.

Reservation is required.

To be honest, this restaurant wasn’t very impressive. I had a glass of champagne, sparkling water, goat cheese watermelon melon salad, cod fillet, apricot tart for dinner. My partner had similar 3 course meal. We paid 133 Euros so price was ok but the food was just average. It wasn’t very delicious to be honest. It was ok but nothing special. I saw very good review on google so I went there for my birthday. I asked for lemon slices for the sparkling water in the beginning but I got it by the time I got my dessert(1.5hrs later). Also the waiter kept bumping into my partner’s head several times when passing by. Quite disappointed about the whole experience. Atmosphere was romantic and cute. I don’t think I’ll go back there again.
Overall ok price for ok taste food, poor service, cute atmosphere.

This was an absolutely fantastic restaurant that offered either a six course meal for €70 or menu items à la cart. While the six courses was a fantastic option, I am allergic to prawns and that was the main course for the evening. So, we chose à la cart items and were not disappointed!

We were provided with a pallet cleanser to start, which was a cold, watermelon, tomato basil, and balsamic soup, which was absolutely divine (5/5)! For our starter, we both got a melon and watermelon salad with fresh goat cheese, and basil topped with olives and hazelnuts (5/5). For our main course, I got the mahi-mahi with a green vegetable sauce of some kind and lightly sautéed vegetables (5/5). It was absolutely delicious and the skin on the mahi-mahi was perfectly crisp. My fiancé got veal and he says it’s one of the *top 10 steaks he’s ever eaten in his life!* It was so tender, so juicy, melted in your mouth, and had hints of nutmeg and cloves in the au jus, which brought out flavor stupendously (5/5). For dessert, we had the brownie with vanilla ice cream, and of course it was above and beyond. What was plated as three small pieces of brownie turned out to be the richest brownie I’ve ever had in my life with deliciously light and fluffy piped chocolate mousse next to it and shards of brownie crisp on top with the smallest dollop of salted caramel. it was absolutely divine (5/5)! My fiancé also got a cappuccino and a glass of cabados as his digestif.

This restaurant is easily five out of five stars, and we would recommend it to anyone who comes to Côte d’Azur!

*NOTE: While not a restriction for us, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the ENTIRE MENU was GLUTEN FREE! Super cool for those with dietary restrictions 🙂

A must! We had a lovely time and a delicious dinner!! The service and atmosphere is great and the food outstanding. Oyster and gambas plates were particularly delicious. Just make sure to specify a table in the terrace when you make the reservation. Lovely staff and attention. We will come back when we are in the French Riviera. Thank you!

So thrilled to find this lovely little restaurant just 10 minutes by train/walking from our new apartment in Beaulieu Sur Mer! I met Tamara , the wife of the chef, at the local cooking shop and went to dinner a few days later! What a gem! We were able to dine outdoors in October, comfortable weather. Everything we chose we would order again and again!
Service as a 10*! Unusual for us but we both had the espresso martini for dessert and it was the best we’ve ever had! Reservations certainly required. We were sad to see many sent away and miss out what we were enjoying!

Cozy sit down place. They have their own take on the items. Im forgetting exactly the names of the dishes we tried. Everything was good and made fresh. I gave a 4 star instead of 5 because one of the dishes couldve used a little more seasoning. Nothing major but good food overall. Creme burlee is also very tasty.
