Fresh, authentic, delicious, comforting Italian food. I couldn’t stop eating even though I was full. We ordered the italian sausage and calamari for starters. Both starters were great, the sausage had roasted garlic on it to hit the spot and the calamari batter was perfect. For maincourse I got the calabrese pizza and let me tell you it was the softest and freshest dough, perfectly cooked in the firewood oven. The nduja on the pizza was marvellous if you like a bit of a spice. My friend ordered the carbonara linguini that she absolutely loved as the sauce was so creamy and smooth. Finally we ended with hazelnut gelato and affogato. If you love gelato and espresso, have their affogato for a perfect finish to the meal. Their gelato selection is limited but sooo good!! Definitely recommend and would be returning back!!

My husband and I came here today, visiting from Toronto. The atmosphere was so welcoming and all the staff were professional and friendly. We were served by a beautiful waitress names Sarah. She was attentive, friendly and very helpful as we needed help translating the menu from French to English. Food was amazing 10/10!!!

Tried Bella Italiana for the first time to celebrate a graduation and it was the best decision. The ambiance is homey yet chic and the service was impeccable, thanks to our amazing server Sara! We were 11 and all of us could attest to just how delicious everything was and how minimal the wait was. The presentation, the taste, and the portions were great. For pasta, I tried the Cavatelli al Pesto and Pappardelle ai Porcini, and both were amazing. For pizza I tried the Caprino, Caprese, Margherita, and the now favorite, the Caprino. Having tried various items, I know Bella Italiana is definitely the place to satisfy every palate. The food was simply perfect. There’s also great tiramisu! Will definitely be back!

A fantastic little eatery. I had a wood fired pizza and an order of tortellini.
The pizza was some of the best I’ve had with fresh and tasty ingredients on a perfectly cooked crust.
The tortellini had a wonderful rosée sauce and a fantastically flavorful filling.
For dessert I had the bacci balls, suggested by my wonderful waitress Elizabeth. It’s pizza dough filled with mozarella and Nutella then topped with a few shakes of powdered sugar. Pretty good, and a change from the tiramisu I normally order at Italian places.
All in all, great food, great service, and great restaurant with an atmosphere that makes you feel welcome. Would recommend.

I discovered Bella Italiana a couple of summers ago, and it’s become a must-visit every time I’m in Montreal. This family-run gem offers the most amazing food, and the risotto is absolutely phenomenal. They always prepare it just the way I like it! The wood-fired pizza is another highlight, with a dough that’s gentle on the stomach. It’s truly five stars across the board!
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you really feel like part of the family every time you visit. They even do catering, and their hospitality is top-notch. The staff always remembers me, and each visit feels like a reunion. Bella Italiana is simply amazing!”

The service was excellent, staff is friendly, hospitable and smiling. We had a reservation, we arrived and got seats with 5min.
The restaurant was packed. The atmosphere was so lively.
We ordered a sangria pitcher, 1 entrees “Arancini ai funghi” , 1 Arugula salad and two main dishes, a Pizza Vegetariana and 1 Eggplant with Parmesan .
The flavors of each dish were explosive, as if you were just in Italy in the best restaurant.
The waitress offered us limoncello, and proposed and Must try Pistachio ice cream .
If you like pistachio ice cream at least visit them for that.

We visited this place to check it out before potentially booking a larger table for my daughter’s birthday party. I always prefer to visit in advance before giving any establishment a big piece of business.
And wow, I’m glad I did.
This time, we just stopped in to grab some ice cream and order a pizza to go. The experience left a lot to be desired.
First, my spouse asked what the flavor of the day was and was brushed off, almost like she was bothering them just for asking. When I tried to place the pizza order, the staff member barely let me finish before rushing to ring me up, without asking if we wanted anything extra or even acknowledging my mother, who was clearly waiting to order ice cream as well.
I had to ask twice if the two ice creams had even been billed. Still, there was no reaction, no thank you, no basic courtesy. Honestly, I almost didn’t want to leave a tip it was some of the worst service I’ve experienced in Montreal. But of course, if you don’t leave a tip, even on takeout, you end up looking like the bad guy.
In the end, the pizza was fantastic, ice cream was good but not great, but we won’t be going back. One person having a bad day shouldn’t ruin the entire experience, but unfortunately, it did.
