It really is a perfect spot. They give you your own salsa so no more fighting with hubby and kids over slasa lol. They were good with the kids and with my baby daughter. Im always worried about sizzling dishes and they were very careful. The food was literally delicious and top notch. The hot sauce selection was a good addition to the salsa. I will be going back there! I got the #58 la base fajita. Soooo good. I added a whole side bowl of queso dip on it and the green hot sauce on each tortilla shell. I love that they steady cleaned up after us and made sure we had refills the while time.

This is a solid 3.5 – 3.9. Decor is pretty standard for a Mexican restaurant. Received excellent service and $$ to $$$ for prices. Complementary salsa has a pleasant puréed texture that I have not encountered at other establishments with similar cuisine. It was mild for those who cannot handle spicy.
Serving sizes were good, and my Hawaiian burrito was stuffed with chicken, shrimp, diced avocado, grilled onions, diced tomatoes, and some lettuce shreds. You can opt for a cheese sauce on top, but I passed. My husband ordered an enchilada type dish with one chicken and the other steak.
I would stop back in again to try their street tacos.

The food and service a are good. This is a very convenient location for Area B of WPAFB. I would put this in the same tier as El Toro or El Rancho Grande. Definitely checks all the boxes for a good Latin menu with many of the Mexican cuisine staples.

I took my two children out for dinner tonight, and chose LaBade because I had been once previously with a good experience.
My only complaint I have is the dinning room is very noisy. I’m happy for a busy restaurant, but the materials of the space cause almost an echo loud enough that it was not easy to hear one another. Other than that, it was a clean, nice space.
Now the food. We started with the standard complimentary chips & salsa, and then ordered the table side guacamole. Salsa was fresh and had great flavor, but need a bit of salt to bring the flavor out best. The star was the guacamole. Fresh pico mashed with avocado makes the best tasting guacamole! It had great lime flavor as well. My son had never been willing to try guac before, but this one enticed him and he enjoyed it.
Gor entrées I ordered the pollo la crema, my oldest child had 3 fish tacos, and my son had shredded beef chimicanga’s. They both enjoyed their meals and the portions were large enough to have leftovers.
My chicken was delicious as well. It was very well seasoned and juicy. It was topped with grilled peppers and onions, and poblano cream sauce. I picked black beans and side salad as my sides. The black beans were more like black bean soup, but good. I used the side salad to top my chicken. Would definitely order again, except they have many dishes that looked good, so it might have to wait.
Lastly, our server was wonderful. I had mentioned I would also have a to-go order to put in at the end of the meal. Then I got so busy chatting with the kids, I had forgotten about it. When I asked for boxes for our leftovers, our server kindly reminded me of my previous statement and asked for the order. Very attentive and kind.

My server was very nice an helpful thank you so much Fernando .I forgot to take a photo of my food it was very delicious and disappeared quickly.i ordered the street tacos I had the tacos al pastor, tacos de carnitas and jicama tacos .the al pastor tacos where just as good as the local food trucks here in Dayton,Ohio not dry at all . The tacos de carnitas where very tender ,juicy the pickled red onions added a nice tangy element to the taco an the avocado sauce was smooth an creamy.never had jicama tacos before the chicken was nice an crisp the chipotle sauce wasn’t burnt tasting instead had a nice smokey flavor if I get them again if ask for corn tortillas I think they might taste better just personal preference.my husband got the lunch special steak fajitas it came with nice fluffy Mexican rice an cheesy beans on the side .he was very pleased an ate it all said had nice flavor and wasn’t full of gristle or tough.love they give extra bowl for salsa so you don’t have to share if ya don’t want to .the salsa was good an flavorfull without being over powering.will have to return with family so they can try it too.very clean dining room nah used to that in smaller restaurants.

Had a lovely lunch here. The service was fantastic. I had the steak lunch bowl from the lunch menu. Generous portion I actually had to bring half home with me. Flavor was great. Hubs had a taco and burrito with red sauce and beans. Taco meat was a little wet but the flavor of the meat was great. The burrito meat was delicious too and the red sauce some of the best I’ve tasted in this area. The beans were slightly under seasoned but overall this was a great experience and we will be repeat customers.

There are many Mexican restaurants in Fairborn and Beavercreek La Base is the Best! The Food is authentic Mexican and fresh Mexican food, and the portions are very good. The Servers are all very professional but very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and well-decorated because their Manager is on the ball. The food is Excellent, it is a hidden gem it is not even on TripAdvisor yet. I had the #112 The Fried Grilled Burrito it was soooooooooooo good. Go Don’t miss the Great food or warm atmosphere!!

Delicious taco selection. The pork with pineapple and slow cooked beef were soo delicious. My partner and I shared our meals. Highly recommended with the scrumptious dipping sauce the slow cooked beef tacos come with.
Only note is don’t be afraid of table seating (if there’s a game on the booths get contested.)
P.S. ONLY restaurant I’ve witnessed someone cleaning the table menus. Well done La Base, I am sincerely appreciative of your standards.
