This place nails it. It’s everything you want Taco Bell to be, but better. The burritos are massive—seriously, bigger than your head. My steak burrito had a bit too much lettuce, but overall the flavor was excellent. The staff was extremely helpful, and the hot sauces (green and brown) were both delicious.
They even serve authentic bottled Mexican Coca-Cola, and prices are very reasonable for the size and quality of the food. It feels like a local family-run fast food spot, even though it’s actually a small multi-location chain. Service was fast, the food was tasty, and it’s absolutely worth driving a few minutes off the highway to stop here. Highly recommend.

One of my favorite burrito places in the entire world. I flew into Indianapolis were a visit, and this is my first stop when I left the airport. I always get the regular steak and chorizo burrito and go through a couple of the hot sauces as I eat.It was just as good as I remembered.

I may tell you I’m traveling up to the beaches around Lake Michigan, but in reality I’m looking for a reason to visit La Bamba. The service and care taken on the orders is always evident. Nothing against teenagers, but I’ve never seen a youngling working here. Only people with experience making solid Mexican food. You can ask for avocado added and it’s scooped right out fresh. There are also pickled spicy carrots and a new hot sauce. I recommend the lengua tacos. A favorite!

Ordered a super burrito they say is as big as your head. That’s because there is a head of lettuce inside but not much else. After I pulled out a handful of the lettuce the burrito looks like a long taquito. The pic is after I pulled off a bunch of the tortilla which is a double wrap it with to make it bigger, and a bunch of the lettuce. This is not worth $12 The second picture is a $4 taco that I bought that’s not worth that because it looks like it is tiny . And lastly the pork taste g.ross. I am so sick of getting shitty food in restaurants and they expect you to pay for it. Will not be back.

This is easily the worst food and the worst customer service I have ever had. I ordered one 2 taco 1 quesadilla combo, a burrito and chips and cheese. All of the tacos had different meat and were covered in bagged shredded lettuce. There was no quesadilla and no chips and cheese. The burrito wasn’t even edible. I called back to ask for a refund and was instructed to come back to the store. I could not because I live 20 minutes away and I was on my lunchbreak. I was then told to call back today. I called this morning and the person insisted I bring the food back even though I tried to tell him that it was purchased yesterday and had been thrown away. He was extremely rude and kept interrupting me. I could not seem to get my point across that the food had been thrown away/ was missing. I have no idea how this place is still open. Horrible food. Even worse customer service!!

La Bamba has always been one of my favorite Mexican restaurants! The food is cooked to order, so it always comes out hot. Their tacos taste so fresh and flavorful. I love the steak tacos (with everything on them) and a side of rice. The red and green sauces are also very good.

It’s Taco Tuesday & I felt like treating myself to a super burrito from La Bamba’s.. aka “Burritos As Big As Your Head.” They’ve been around at least 30 years because I remember them since my days at Broad Ripple High School. & 30 years later.. They’re still just as good.. maybe not quite as big as my head, but definitely as big as my forearm & heavy as a newborn baby! ( just joking.. or am I? )

Not very friendly staff, at all. I asked if they could make it spicy, and in turn, he gave me a very condescending look and just pointed to the hot sauce cups saying, “the hot sauce is over there”. I got the super burrito. It was not very thick (full of lettuce) and very bland. I will definitely not be back!

Apparently entirely incapable of reading an order. Ordered a simple meat and cheese quesadilla… where they literally had to give me less ingredients for the same price.. and they apparently can’t read. Wasn’t warm, wasn’t correct, missing everything in the order. Disgusting food compared to their other locations. Do not order food from this location. They can’t read and can’t get a simple order write. Would leave less than 1 star if I could. Ordered on a weekend so supposedly their most on-point people were working. Order Taco Bell and save yourself the headache. Trash food.
