Hair in my cheese dip ! Took the dip off the tab. Yuck ! Manager said nobody there had white hair. Neither did I or my friend. As an avid fan of authentic Mexican food I would rate this place as below average with an above average price.

I recently went here with my company. There were about 30 of us there. The servers did a great job tending to all us despite our large party. The bar tender was great too! We did not all get there at the same time and they still allowed us to order drinks prior to being served at the table. The food and drinks were great. I ordered a Quesadilla Texana, it comes witch Chicken, Steak, and Shrimp. Additionally, my Coworker and I split a Texas Margarita Pitcher. It was $35 for the pitcher and it was well worth it. All in all we had a great experience and I will definitely be returning.

Will NEVER eat here again!! Found a hair in my cheese dip and couldn’t eat the rest of my food because I was disgusted. The restaurant took the dip off the bill but refused to discount any of the other food that I couldn’t bring myself to eat. Terrible customer service! The food was mediocre at best even before the hair.

I love love love this place. We’ve been here approximately 4x’s. On this particular visit, as the manager made his rounds, I told him my husband was dissatisfied they talked and he said I apologize we’ll get that fixed for you. My food was delicious. Now the orders are fulfilling and Most people have carry outs . Beautiful staff, atmosphere, clean and good food.

So I recently stumbled on this restaurant, and after seeing the score at the time of reviewing. I know I had to choose this awesome place.
I want to start off by saying that they offer two salsas. One is spicy. One is the basic you would get. It needs salt, but overall. It’s fantastic.
The menu is like any other traditional restaurant. I recommend the chicken special if you want ACP. Or steak for the same price.
You better have a full phone battery because by time you get your bill. You may need to charge your phone.

I really like this place for good Mexican food. Place is centered in a strange shopping area suite on a sloping hill, but other than that, it offers an amazing authentic Mexican experience. They offer both hot and mild salsa choices. The hot isn’t too bad and is flavorful, while the mild is bland and similar to Pace picante. Plates here range from $9 for lunch specials to $10-$25 for dinner meals. For dinner, we ordered their grilled chicken taco plate, a carne asada, some American style tacos, and the Fajita Texana. Everything tasted well except the Texana. I asked for some fresh onion and cilantro to add some flavor to it and that totally did the trick. They offer typical appetizers such as nachos, queso, guacamole (not a fan, btw as it doesn’t have tomatoes and is extremely creamy) and even hot wings as an appetizer, although I didn’t get to try them. The meals are like any traditional Mexican restaurant dinner and they offer both refried beans and black beans (these are not great-no flavor at all) and even have vegetarian meals as well. We ordered their margaritas, one strawberry and one lime flavor. The lime flavor one seriously packed a punch while the strawberry one was borderline virgin. Hubby ordered 3 lime ones and was out for the count for the night. The service here is extremely good as everyone tends to pitch in and help out to provide a great guest experience. Sorry, no review on the deserts, but they do offer flan and sopapillas. I’ll definitely provide an update on some other things I try, as this will be my New Mexican spot while I’m in town.

Don’t travel to Greensboro too often but tonight we did. This was my first visit to La Bamba and I thought it was a pleasant experience. The staff and servers were very friendly and courteous. I had some shrimp and ribeye and it was wonderful. Water, chips and dip were very tasty. I highly recommend this place. Give them a try!
