The atmosphere was pleasant and staff friendly, however the food was terrible. The salsa tasted as if it had cocktail sauce in it. The tacos had way too much salt (& I like salty!) and the sauce was not authenticI️ couldn’t manage to get it down. My husband’s beef mixture with steak, onions and mushrooms had a good taste but the steak was tough. I’m sorry to say that we wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all.

It’s okay. That’s it. Nothing special. Prices are okay. Food was okay. Waiter was extra friendly, but acted like it was coming out of his pocket when I asked for extra napkins. Other than that, no problem with the waiter. I probably won’t be back. It’s better than Taco Bell but nothing to make me say I want to go back.

Stopped in randomly on a road trip from eastern Kentucky to western Tennessee, looking for some decent Mexican food. Was so impressed with the place that just had to give them a review!
Now, this is not a fancy location by any means, BUT if you’re just looking for something that is standard Americanized Mexican food then it will totally serve that purpose. We pulled up and split an order of their specialty fajitas. We were in a rush and so we ordered immediately after sitting down. It could not have been more than 5-10 minutes that the food came right out. Everything was sizzling hot and well cooked. The green bell pepper (this is Tex-Mex after all) was still a little crunchy, which was actually a nice touch. Came with plenty of tortillas for the two of us.
All in all, we got in, stuffed our faces with salsa and chips, and had regular tasty fajitas, waters and unsweet teas, and were out within 30 minutes, all under $20 for two. Score. Highly recommend as a place for quick meal if looking something better than fast food. Oh yeah, and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Provecho!

Took grandchildren there to eat Tuesday afternoon. Bill was $26.00, but cashier charged $261.00 to my debit card. Said it was taken care off and be put back in my account. Called yesterday and they said money would be back in account that day. Still isn’t back in account. If it isn’t back in account by 2:00 today , I am calling the police.

We LOVE LOVE LOVE La Azteca, everything on the menu is great but we especially love the Burritos & Chile Rellanos! The prices are great & food is delicious! Lots of food for the price. Our Dad from ABQ agrees, this is better Mexican than he gets there!
