Hands down the BEST bbq I’ve ever had. This is my husband’s and I second time and we equally enjoyed it. It’s worth every penny!!!! The brisket is melt in your mouth, the ribs are fall off the bone tender and those chicken wings!!! Let me tell you, my husband typically enjoys a tossed wing but those naked wings… 10/10 INCREDIBLE! The lemonade was freshly squeezed as well and you NEVER find that anymore.

Jan 30, 2026 update-Excellent as always. Never disappoints.
Service was phenomenal. Food was delicious. Was our first time there and we went because of all the rave reviews. We had pulled pork, brisket, mac n cheese, green beans, cole slaw, sweet tea, and diet coke and a brownie. 10/10 would definitely recommend.

We’ve come back multiple times and have never been disappointed. A lot of times they have so much catering scheduled you can’t dine in, so we’ve gotten in the habit to call ahead to be sure. You will never regret eating from them.

Amazing food. I recommend calling before going. In the past few months we have arrived several times anywhere between 3-5 and found them closed. We started calling ahead and have been told they were closing early. They might be understaffed. Not sure, but, if you can get there when they happen to be open, they are hands down the best BBQ around and the bread pudding is fantastic!

We had lunch today at L & R Barbecue in Hurricane. It was delicious! We tried their wings, pulled pork, mac-n- cheese, beans and hotdogs. It did not disappoint. With their military themed decor, pleasant staff, fast service and delicious food, I would HIGHLY recommend. P. S. their sweet tea is perfection and don’t forget to grab one of their homemade desserts for the road.
