Service was great and atmosphere is calm and peaceful.
Nice place to have a meal after day full of adventures in museum.
They opened Sundays night so one more thing which nice about this place
Our waitress was pleasant as can be. We ordered the brussel sprouts and some kind of a steak appetizer. Both were very disappointing. The steak was barely chewable. It was served with toast and a tomato slice. Not sure if they were meant to be eaten on the toast or what. The meat was just too hard to chew even by itself. Nevermind on a piece of toast. It was awful.
The brussel sprouts were different, but similarly disappointing. No flavor what so ever and the texture of raw zucchini with the skin on chopped up. Not sure what it all was chopped up in a bowl.
We both ordered the 10″ pizzas. I ordered the figgy piggy which sounded good on paper, but didn’t have much flavor at all. My daughter had a pizza with apple and I don’t know what else and only ate one piece. I am not sure why. She just wasn’t crazy about it.
The heat came on as we were about 80% done. I don’t enjoy wearing a winter coat to eat dinner. The ambiance at our particular table was 0. The food was less than mediocre. The waitress was pleasant, professional, and very pretty. Left a 20% tip as she did her job. The rest was a bust. We came up from Cedar Rapids to dine. Probably won’t do that again. Our loss.
Pictured are the brussel sprouts.
