Great little diner! Always come here after early morning hockey games at the BORE. Great selection of pancakes for the kids, classic diner staples for the adults, good deep fried hash browns, and very friendly service!

Breakfast all day is good by me. While L&M can use a serious remodel and deep cleaning, overall I enjoyed my breakfast here. The staff was friendly although not overly attentive (I didn’t get a refill on my coffee, and had to flag waitress down for the check) the food was really good. The menu had plenty of interesting options that have me thinking about going back for a second time.

What a cute little place! I had an eye appointment at Barre Optical this week and decided to take my mom along so that I could take her to breakfast afterwards. I did a little research and read the reviews for the diner and since he had never been there, that’s where we went!
Other than the wait staff being a little unkempt, it’s very cute inside. It didn’t take up long to order, and our order didn’t take long to come! I ordered the Eggs Florentine and my mom ordered the French Toast. We both loved our dishes so much, that we switched half way in so that we could try the others dish. They were both so good! And the price wasn’t bad either. I would definable eat there again if given the chance.
If I lived in the area, I would have responded to their “Help Wanted” sign! I am such a sociable person, and I could see myself working in such a cute atmosphere.

The first time I went to L& M diner in Barre Vt. I was very impressed on the service and the quality of my breakfast. The second time I brought my fiance and he was also impressed. L&M diner reminds me of the old time diners that my mom would take us kids to after church. I will definitely eat there again.

Great place! Quick, friendly service and holy cow fantastic breakfast food! We ordered corned beef hash, hashbrowns, bacon, sausage, the apple cinnamon pancake, Canadian bacon and a croissant. As you can see, the portions were generous and we were happily stuffed. We’ll be back soon to try lunch and creamees!

They are always friendly and their food is very tasty. I have brought my family there a few times and the only negative I can really say is that their space isn’t adequate for a large family. We have had to wait for a table for about half an hour while other people were seated because there were no tables large enough available. But that’s more of a space issue than anything.

Absolutely fantastic! Great food great service great people! I ordered the BBC mishmash and it was phenomenal! We shared a chocolate chip and coconut pancake…they have about 12 kinds ..do yourself a favor and try one!

Very good place to eat, I order the chicken cowboy sandwich and it’s made perfect.The wait staff is very friendly, and quick to seat, and serve you. Very homey place. I would definitely recommend L&M diner to anyone.

Excellent food! Excellent service! Noticed an earlier reviewer suggested staff unkempt, NOT true. Will return! THIS L&M DINER HAD A MAJOR FIRE & IS NO LONGER OPEN. Sorry to see it go.
