This was our first time here, and we had a great experience! We really enjoyed the sushi buffet. The kids loved it too and ate everything we ordered. We definitely found a few favorites that we really liked.

It was very quiet and slow on a Sunday evening, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, though the lighting felt a little too dark. My only suggestion would be to consider better lighting and adding a salad bar area, especially since it’s such a large space.

I found sand in my clams and the waiter couldn’t communicate with me also I was told it’s lunch time so I would pay 23$ but when I got out the charge me dinner as I spent time inside the service was so slow stacking a lot of empty plates worst place ever even when I asked for a manger to complain he couldn’t communicate with me and they stopped me for tip and when I left no tip the through the bill on the disk and say really!!!! I don’t recommend that place and first and last time and don’t know how is that 4.3 stars

The cost was just over $21 (including tax) for weekday lunch

The taste and quality is decent. I liked it, but some things tasted better than others.

The sushi was more standard buffet for taste. The salmon was a bit dry and bland. The fried rice was good (more like a Chinese-American style fried rice). The dumplings are standard (taste like a frozen brand).

My friend did have to spend close to 10 mins in the bathroom, that could be unrelated to the food. I wish I hadn’t seen the main sushi cook sneeze twice. [*He was off to the side and not cooking at the time. I can’t recall if he wore a mask or anything while working on food.]

Overall very satisfied with the AYCE offering. As of 6/26/26 $35 is very fair and the quality was much better than some other AYCE sushi places I have been. Very fresh and very fast. I am used to waiting 10-15 mins for orders at any other place I have been but Kyoto took less than 5 for each refill.

Offerings were all wonderful, dynamite, volcano, sexy girl, plus some tempura, and I was very satisfied.

Warm house sake is a must and priced fairly.

Service was great and overall very pleasant experience.

Food is always great. I have 3 boys that can eat a lot so we do the buffet. The atmosphere is a little off. There is super bright lights that sort of shine in your face over by the bathroom but then it’s so dark at the table. No over head lighting really. The bathrooms are yikes, pretty gross and the floors are so sticky. But the staff is very nice, and food is good. Not high end but fine.

Yes, it is all what you can eat and served fresh. The staff is friendly and servers make sure you are not waiting for more food or refills. Keep ordering as you eat so there is continuity of food. There are meat options that are not #halal but there are so many #seafood options to fill your appetite.

I have been to this Kyoto many times and it is one of my favorite locations. Today I went for lunch. Lunch on a weekday is from 11 – 2:15 and is $20. I ordered a couple sushi rolls (B.C. roll and Rainbow roll), Seafood fried rice (best I’ve ever had), tempura shrimp and tempura crab (imitation crab), edamame (not pictured) a crab hand roll and strawberry Ice cream. Every single dish was very hot and incredibly flavorful. The Staff were very attentive and I barely had to wait to get a refill or ask for more food. This is one of the best lunches I’ve had and I’m so happy I came here!

Waiter decided it was appropriate to chase us out the door and return our cash tip that we left saying “It’s okay” ” Fishing for us to give him more. The dinner is insanely overpriced. As a matter of fact if we knew the price we wouldn’t have decided to eat there. They’re taxing already, a fat tip on top is not necessary. Especially considering what we ate (mostly noodles and rice) they made plenty off of us, what is the fat tip for? We admittingly left a moderate tip, but it felt like what we wanted to leave. This dude thinks he’s working in a steakhouse or something. It’s a small buffet that has waiters, get over yourself lol. People can tip what they want to. Train your staff to have better customer service and not chase their patrons out the door begging for money. Embarrassing.

All you can eat is crazy awesome! Loved all the items I have tried. Salmon teriyaki is amazing . Tempuras were also great. Would go again here, but it is 32$ without tax and tips. Worth it to every penny. The place could have been little more lit in the night.

I’ve eaten here 2-3 times now when visiting Eden Prairie, and it’s great. If you like to eat a lot of sushi, try different things and looking for value, this is the place.

While I never expect all you can eat sushi to great, this is pretty and about as good as it gets. I order a couple to few things at a time and go slower. I’d recommend their Nigiri items (I like the eel), the spider roll, any tempura items, the fried scallops, and fried shu mai. I’ve had maybe a half dozen rolls or so, and most were average, so these were just my preferences of some of either the better items or ones to help you get the most bang for your buck.

I have not had any of the teriyaki, teppanyaki, or udon. I love udon, but just didn’t want to fill up.

All in all, the food is good, and I would continue to eat here in the future. The value is there if you plan to eat enough and the right things.
