This restaurant was large and tastefully decorated. We came in for lunch and was pleased with the food and cleanliness. There was a nice variety of Chinese and Japonese foods including Sushi and Sashimi. The only issue was the food wasn’t hot! I told the owner on the way out and he went to check the temperatures.

My first time going to a buffet in years, and it was decent. I was surprised by the sushi being apart of the buffet so I did enjoy that. The atmosphere was good and the attendants were attentive. The buffet was clean and didn’t look sloppy. The food wasn’t scorching hot, but was warm enough. I was expecting more of a selection from the remainder of the buffet, but it had the basics that you’re used to. Price wasn’t too bad I guess, but I think the last time I went to a buffet years ago it was like $11 lol but it is 2025 now.

Apparently going at 8pm is not the move. The food was uneven temperature. The food had no real flavor. The hibachi steak was so tough that I couldn’t chew and swallow it. The hibachi soup (which is my favorite from kyoto specifically) was bland and had none of the usual mushroom and green onion bits. The ice creams that my daughters were going to eat looked like they had one that melted all over the others and the froze on the outside of the ice cream cups. The silverware was dirty, we had to dig for clean. It makes me very sad to have to share all this because Kyoto WAS one of my fave spots. I don’t know that I plan to come back. The food was definitely not worth the price flavor and temp wise. Disappointed.

We went today for the ayce crablegs.. everything was hot & fresh! We went at a great time because we were able to get several plates of the crab legs. Our waitress was very tentative.. We will definitely go back again on crab leg days.

We were able to get seated right away. We both ate from the buffet which they have a good assortment of dishes. Also has a good selection of sushi. Deserts were so so. The waitress was very attentive.

Personally, we don’t usually rate a Buffet but this place deserved it. Also, we like the idea they offer AYCE Snow Crab Legs during Christmas and New Year, this will be our tradition every year for our delicious feast on Christmas Day. Not just AYCE Snow Crab Legs also great selection of Sushi and Sashimi…plus other stuff! It’s really fun eating a great buffet with great product and good service… We will definitely be back for sure!

I’d share to make this their favorite spot. I have not been so humpy about my food delivery, the food itself and a very, very long time. If at all with Instacart the set up the flavor of the drink I got a Thai tea chefs kiss I got a shrimp teriyaki shrimp bento box. This is not a complaint however, I did not get any teriyaki on the shrimp on the vegetables or even on the side other than the Yum Yum sauce that I requested on the side however, the food still had so much flavor that does California rolls were fresh. I don’t even know what these little fried things are, but they were good too. I mean in white rice can’t complain about the white rice. I give a 10 out of 10. No flash on pic and forgot to take one of the Thai tea beautifully done and tasting. Oh forgot to mention this was Instacart delivered at that!!
Edit: I think I overhyped this place because since this order, my food has not been the same. I’ve been disappointed every single time. I didn’t even know this plate came with a salad until I ordered lunch last week. I’ve ordered about seven times currently eating dinner no salad

This place is seriously lacking in service. It was our first and last visit. The hostess sat us and said nothing about a menu or how we could order, not buffet. The server said we didn’t have a choice, so we decided to give it a try. The waitress didn’t get drink orders from everyone. She asked two of us and just brought water anyway. The sushi was all California or Philadelphia rolls, just with various toppings. The sashimi wasn’t anything special either. The signs EVERYWHERE threatening additional fees and uncharges were a bit over the top, too. It didn’t have a welcoming vibe at all.
