We stopped by for lunch and were impressed by the beautifully renovated interior. Unfortunately, that was the highlight of the visit, as the food didn’t quite live up to the refreshed space.
We ordered a variety of appetizers, ramen, sushi, and sashimi, and while everything was technically edible, that’s about the best that can be said. The appetizers tasted like they came straight from a freezer bag, the sushi was poor to average quality, and the sashimi was still partially frozen. The ramen lacked depth and flavor and was completely underwhelming.
To top it off, an 18% service charge was added to our bill for a party of seven, which in itself is fine. What wasn’t fine was that the suggested tip amounts were then calculated on top of that new total, including the service charge. And they don’t tell you this. If you’re not paying close attention, it’s very easy to overtip and end up paying far more than intended.
Overall, it was a very disappointing lunch. Despite the nice decor and good service, we would not return.

Amazing Experience! The wait staff was lovely and the food was amazing. Our server, Vitta, was so lovely and sweet and attentive. The food portions were big and it was tasty. The place was very beautiful and spacious aswell. 10/10 would recommend snd come again!!

We had a fantastic server named Paul today. Very kind and patient with us and our kids. Also made sure to come back and check on us frequently which was very nice and made sure our drinks were topped up. The food was absolutely fantastic and fresh and hot. It all tasted really great and all had great portions as well. The prices all feel very fair for the portions you get. The redesign of the restaurant is also very nice as well and came out great. Always a great place to eat Japanese food.

Amazing time spent here. The food was great but the atmosphere is what pushes this place to greater heights. Our server, Kevin was very attentive and did everything to meet our needs. He even showed us a great knot to use in our to go bag. Would I come back? ABSOLUTELY, and you should too. Yes the grill is gone but this place and its staff make up for it. Great job, Kevin. Thank you for being great!

We went today for the first time and I was very impressed all-around. The restaurant was very clean and the mix of modern and traditional Asian decor gave a great atmosphere. The service and sushi was very good. We each got the BOGO sushi and we’re please. We will be returning to the other sushi options.

I have been coming here for a few years now and was pleasantly surprised when I walked in to see the improvement that has taken place. Totally remodeled, but same great flavors. The waiter was on the ball and did a fantastic job.

The staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Our server even recommended a soup (mushroom) when I wanted the pork dumpling soup without the dumpling (I’m a little weird like that ). I was adamant about my dumpling soup, so when the soup arrived they gave me the mushroom soup on the house to try. I should’ve listened to my server! The mushroom soup was much better than what I ordered.
The presentation of the sushi rolls was phenomenal and everything was delicious!
The service staff worked as a team to remove dirty dishes, get refills, and to make sure everything was good for us.
10/10 highly recommend this place!
