THE BEST! Been enjoying the food at this restaurant for many years! We moved 17 years ago to NC & every time we are back in NY, we make sure to visit this place! Delicious food, hilarious & fun waiters. Awesome staff! Love it!!

Went for a friend’s birthday. Table of 14 people. When we got there I took note of the fact that we were the only people in the whole restaurant at what should normally be a “dinner rush”. The waiter kept trying to leave the table before taking all the drink orders, and even told us “I don’t want to have to come back”. Everyone that had ordered seafood dishes said the scallops and lobster were over cooked. The place is very over priced ($21.50 for shrimp fried rice, are you serious?) and the food is less than mediocre. Don’t waste your time or money. There’s a better place across the street.

Kwong Ming is a traditional Chinese restaurant delivering delicious foods. Their eggrolls are supersized, crispy, and tasty. The Pork Fried Dumplings had a buttery dough with ample filling. My favorite was the sticky barbecue ribs. The cut was meaty, the sauce a sweet glaze that packs great flavor. These will be a must order every time we dine here! We have two entrees accompanied by delightful pork fried rice. The Chick Chow Fun was perfect. The wide rice noodles were fully coated in flavor and the chicken pounded lean also absorbing the savory dark soy-based sauce. Green onions added color and freshness. Their Cashew Chicken was prepared in a rich brown sauce mixed with mushrooms, green peas, red peppers, and sauteed chicken and crisp cashews. Tea was plentiful and rounded out our delightful meal. The restaurant was spotless and large enough to accommodate guests practicing social distancing.

Kwong Ming is hit and miss. Sometimes ok and sometimes awful. It’s a lottery. The waiters never write anything down so it is very easy to get the orders wrong. We eat here occasionally because it is nearby… but I’d never go out of my way to eat here. Of note, the fried rice is especially dry and bland. Probably the worst fried rice I have ever had in my life.

I spent $122 dollars on take out food today from Kwong Ming. The fried rice and pork pieces were dry. The broccoli in the chicken and broccoli was soggy. The steamed dumplings were terrible. The accompanying sauces had a strange taste. The sesame chicken was overly sweet. We ended up throwing out the food. Do not go there.

Kwong Ming is a pretty good spot for Chinese food. It’s not my favorite to be honest. It feels kind of middle of the road for americanized chinese food. I think that if you want Chinese food there are better choices around. I wish I could say that is above average because many people in Wantagh regard it as great Chinese food but it’s just not that good. Nothing really stands out. Maybe they like it because there is a bar or something? Either it’s gonna be a while before I order from here again.

The food is really good, and the portions are a good size. The Egg Rolls might be the biggest I’ve ever seen. That’s the WOW factor. but the taste is average. They are really missing something. Appears to be mostly cabbage. The staff are very good. Prices are on par.

Old school Chinese restaurant with AMAZING food, including homemade egg rolls you have to try. The sesame chicken is incredible and so are their ribs. Service was great too. And great ice cream
