We visited last night for a celebrational birthday dinner, and once again it was an exceptional experience. The service is always outstanding — such a welcoming team who are consistently attentive and genuinely make you feel looked after.

My best friend and I enjoyed the Sacha King Prawns Claypot (8pcs, GF available) — sautéed king prawns with ginger, shallot, rice vermicelli noodles and Shacha sauce. It was absolutely divine. The flavours are hard to put into words: rich, aromatic, beautifully balanced, and the texture was just perfect. Truly a standout dish.

We also ordered a summer mocktail which was refreshing, vibrant, and just beautiful. I can’t remember the exact ingredients, but it was stunning and paired perfectly with the meal.

Whether you’re after a quick takeaway dinner or you want to indulge and enjoy a full banquet, I highly recommend this place. It’s one of our favourite spots to visit, and it never disappoints.

Kwan Ho is our go-to restaurant – the food is always very yummy, and the service is absolutely wonderful. One of the main reasons we keep coming back is Dan, an amazing lady who always greets us with a big smile and takes such great care of us. Her warm and friendly service makes every visit extra special!

I will always come back to Kwan Ho, especially for my favorite Shanghai noodles – they are some of the best I’ve ever had!

Highly recommend this place for anyone who loves delicious food and great service.

Food was pretty good. Service was great. Venue is competing with noise from the rest of the casino.

Very nice food and dining experience. We haven’t had Chinese Cuisine for a while and enjoyed the food and whole dining experience very much. Of particular highlight was the vegetarian dish, ‘Kung Pa Mushroom’ with yummy oyster mushrooms, capsicum and mixed vegetables. We also had a fish and scallop dish and enjoyed all dishes. The service was both friendly and efficient and the restaurant has a good drink menu. Prices are very reasonable for such a top quality and standard of food. Recommend this restaurant and looking forward to going back.

The food here is very good and the view outside is lovely. It is a very nicely situated restaurant. The vegetarian spring rolls were excellent and different to normal as stuffed with mushrooms and the sauce also was different and very yummy. We had for the main pink ling fish steamed with tomato and something else. I think this was the best dish the fish was beautifully cooked with a lovely flavour. We also had eye fillet wok tossed with black bean and tomato paste and vegetable fried rice. All the food was excellent and for a special night out eating Chinese this is a good restaurant. The only thing that was negative was that the staff did not smile or seem happy. Their service was good but not happy. So I have given four stars not five. Cost $$-$$$

Amazing quality food; the pepper steak and Singapore noodles were absolutely incredible. There are plenty of gluten-free options available. The service was excellent as well.

Amazing food. The staff were attentive but not intrusive. We ordered one of the banquets without realising that it would put strain on the chefs because we were going to a show that night. They delivered each course quickly but without seeming rushed. I’d highly recommend banquet no.2.

Honest review. We went there last night and as a special treat, got the premier banquet ($105 pp), a few drinks and with 15% surcharge due to a public holiday..just over $300 for 2. Now I love chinese food and eaten at some of the best places in Sydney, Brisbane and Gold Coast and had my share of banquets.

So when paying top dollar, you expect generosity and knock out dishes. Dumplings fine, moreton bay bug, bit stingy with one bit each, flavour good. Next, 2 scallops each and 1 lamb chop each- tasty. Ling fish, tasty and reasonable portion. So far we were reasonably happy but not value so far. Then we got the cape beef short ribs. 4 slices each and a bowl of what was meant to be prawn fried rice. Ribs were tasty, the fried rice, I make better at home and my local chinese suburban restaurant, leaves what we got for dust. This is mainly what killed it for us. The cubed carrots, corn and peas is what you get frozen from Woolies. The “prawn” component was the teeny weeny frozen shrimp you get again from the likes of Woolies. Not a “prawn” in sight and 2 small scoops into seperate bowls. I would expect when paying $210 for 2 people, you would get a decent plate of fried rice with real prawns and all the lashings, otherwise do not call it “premier”. I get more food for $80 to feed a family of 4 from my local than spending $210 for 2 here. Overall, the food was good but not for the price and as noted, the fried rice let it all down.

I had moderate expectations of Kwan Ho going by some of the other reviews. However, I think the restaurant may be a little underrated. Our party of five agreed that this is a pretty impressive Chinese restaurant. It ticks a lot of boxes. The set out and decor is pleasant. Service from a number of servers tonight was quick, attentive and polite as well.

We had a good range of dishes for entree and main. Every one of them had their virtues and there wasn’t one we felt was lacking. It was a good sample. Oysters, scallops, spring rolls, beef, pork belly, crispy skin chicken, fish, seasonal vegetables and fried rice were among the dishes we tried. They were all mighty tasty. The ingredients were fresh and good quality. The cooking and presentation were very good. The wine list was good. Overall cost was modest we thought for the quality of the meal.

All in all a good experience. Kwan Ho is recommended.
