I have been to Dario many, many times. But, on this occasion, I was feeling something different. So, I scanned the menu and found that they had a Greek-style gyro sandwich.
So, I ordered it, as I was feeling adventurous, and it was a good decision; the chicken was moist and juicy, and the pita held it all together well. I do wish they had provided some lettuce, that would have been a nice crunch to go along with the crispy sauteed veggies.
I enjoyed this meal, and would totally get this sandwich again, when I am wanting some lighter fair from Dario.

I love the food at Dario’s, and have had great experiences at the Clemmons and King location, but I have to say that the customer service at this University location is very disappointing. There is always an issue with my order. They always get mad at me for asking for the order to be corrected. This is just one example. I ordered a cone with sprinkles for my son, and this is what I got. I paid extra for sprinkles, I expected to have a normal amount of sprinkles on the ice cream. I asked if it would be possible to get some more sprinkles on the side so I can put it on myself, or if they could take the ice cream back and add a little more sprinkles. I was told no, they couldn’t do either. I don’t know if the employees just didn’t want to help me or if there is some sort of corporate rule about how many sprinkles the employees are allowed to add to a cone. I just wanted what I paid for without an attitude from the employee because I was holding up the line and asking for something they claimed they couldn’t give me, and they just told me “no, we can’t do that,” even though I paid for it. The problem here is not the sprinkle issue, it is the unwillingness to help a paying customer.

I’ve always wondered about the crinkle cut fries in regard to how long they’re kept in the fryer before being removed. They’re not quite crispy on the outside, but wonderfully perfect on the inside.

got the grilled chicken sandwich, fries and strawberry shake. crinkle cut fries aren’t normally my first choice but these were hot and crispy. the chicken sandwich was good but I have to say Culver’s is better and the strawberry shake was delicious

I don’t think I’ve ever had a turkey hotdog but so glad I tried it! Nostalgic meal and the locals clearly love it. The drive thru was busy but my order was accurate and tasted good. Hot dog, curly fries and you have to have a Cheerwine with a visit to NC.

This is a very clean place, not gonna lie. They do a good job on that aspect. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE! If you are not satisfied with the burger or meal they have prepared for you, who cares eat it anyways! I am definitely not the person that complains, (check my other reviews), but this is ridiculous. All to save a few bucks, I guess. The burger in the photo is a monster burger, “all the way”….do you see chili, oh sorry, maybe a few drops. When we took up to the counter to ask about the chili, she said yes there’s some under the coleslaw. . She wore gloves but still touched the burger, moved the bun around and and checked it. RIDICULOUS!! Food tastes great, when it’s right, customer service is just not hitting!

I’m from Detroit Michigan so when I come to visit my family in North Carolina I always make it my business to come to Dari-o’s why because food is delicious, hot and ready when you receive your meal especially those (french fries) thick and hot ummm _to add: they are polite_ kind _neat and professional.! When you ride past Dari- o’s you see 7 to 13 cars in the drive thru possibly more to get a bite to eat from Dari-o’s. In conclusion they have (McDonald’s Burger Kings and Wendy’s )all three of them beat! I forgot to mention the chili dogs and fish sandwich and burgers on point

Pleasantly surprised!
1st time eating here. Happened by chance. Not at all what I expected. This place is nice.
It is clean and well ran.
Spacious yet organized.
Food itself had a much better quality to it than normal fast food.
Nice to know that this is an option since we don’t eat at too many QSRs.
