This Japanese restaurant is run by a Japanese owner, and everything about it was excellent – the food was super tasty, the service was friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. I stopped by during my travels, so I’m not sure if I’ll have the chance to visit again, but if I lived nearby, I would definitely become all the time!

After living in cologne for 5+ years and trying dozens and dozens of sushi spots I can say hands down this is the best sushi in cologne…. Highly recommend you try the KAZAN . I stumbled upon it only by chance because I was in the neighbourhood. Hands down, best sushi in Germany. Attention to detail, interesting specials, high quality ingredients, cozy, authentic, and friendly atmosphere. Best of the best.

Really tasty Japanese food on the outskirts of Köln. Staff really helpful, they speak English (neither our Japanese nor our German very good so that was great).
If the good food wasn’t enough, one of the staff ran several blocks after us to return something we’d left behind in the restaurant!

This is a neat and lovely restaurant. Don’t judge the exterior. Inside it welcomes you with clean tables for 2 to 6 persons. The sushi is freshly prepared. Give the crispy sushi a try. You won’t regret it. The service in this restaurant is very polite and excellent. If we are again in Cologne we’ll definitely visit this nice restaurant once more.

Awesome hidden sushi restaurant. Apparently the place is there for a year and we don’t understand how we didn’t try it till now . The prices are good the staff is friendly and most important the sushi was excellent!
