Fun restaurant as what would you expect from a revolving sushi place. The store is well-kept and clean. I would say the food quality is ok for revolving sushi but maybe not worths the price if you compare it to regular sushi restaurant. Since the fish needs to be cut and put in the plates, it dried out somewhat. The portion is normal in my standard (I saw some comments said it’s small but I don’t think it is; or maybe they have improved upon seeing the reviews). Everything in the revolving bar is the same price and doesn’t go by different colors/prices. This makes some dishes extremely expensive. The hot plates in the menu come quickly. I enjoy the flavor of tempura udon although the tempura itself was soggy (maybe they should have separated the tempura when serving. The service was not so great and our drinks were empty and only got refilled toward the end. I think they need to have servers check on customers a bit more often. Overall, it’s an ok sushi place but with the price, I will have to think hard before coming back.

I haven’t been to a Kura Sushi since inlived in Japan. I was so happy to see one here in Salt Lake. Its a really fun experience and the Sushi is good. A little Americanized but, I think thats a good thing (more cooked options) The deserts are also delicious. If you spend a certain amount of money too, you get a cool take away gift!!! Great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

I thought the sushi would be kind of small, but the toppings were way bigger than I expected. The limited-time Sweet shrimp nigiri was super thick, fresh, and so good! I also really liked the Spicy Popcorn Shrimp Roll. The two of us had 14 plates and were totally stuffed.
For dessert, the Taiyaki was hot and crispy, and it went perfectly with the vanilla ice cream and red bean.
Such a fun and satisfying lunch spot for conveyor-belt sushi!

We chose Kuru to have an experience like the conveyor restaurants in Japan. HUGE mistake.
Each plate is $3.85 with 2 small pieces of sushi. The rice was dry and feel apart when you lifted it off the plate. The grilled mackerel was so over done it was like cardboard, inedible. Ordered a veggie tempura plate. Cost $9 and was 2 pieces sweet potato, largest was almost 2in long, 1/2in wise and 1/4in thick. The second was smaller. Took a pick. SO poor and bad value.
Sushi was very cold. The watermelon was so dry they looked like it had been sitting out a few days.
Computer screen had glitches. Ice cream was hard and icy. The red bean paste was hard, must have been frozen with the ice cream.
Lunch was almost $100.
My advise, go somewhere else.

This was a fun Delicious experience!! Everything we tried was so good! The whole conveyor belt, pick what you want as it comes by was wonderful. And then we had to get enough plates so we got a prize Was fun too. Everything about it was great. It can get pricey if you don’t watch how many plates you’re getting…. But I highly recommend

Went there for a party of 7 for my daughter’s birthday as per her requests. Seen some TikTok n iG videos of the place popping up, good reviews, and looks to be cool spot to try. Got there at 6:10pm on a Saturday, and got on the reservation list. We waited until 7:40 until they had seatings for 4 and 3 next to each other.
Don’t bother coming if you have a party of higher than 4 people. This place doesn’t have the seating capacity for bigger parties. Unless you want to be spread out in different sections.
The atmosphere was nice and cool. Waiter/Waitress robot was cool site to see. We was seated 6th or 7th booth on the conveyor belt way. We’d see the tray on the other side and looks great to grab, but by time it got to our seat section it was already taken. Most time we ordered it on the above touch screen. My Adult and teenage kids was hungry for waiting hour and half. So one table ate 34 plates, and my table next to them ate 37 plates. At almost $4 a small plate it added up. Ended up spending about $400 for all 7 of us. Came to about $58/person for my tables.
Waiters were great and they did their job well, but this dimsum style sushi plate is a little expensive for the portions. Plate presentation was good, and flavor and choices was good. Sushi was freshly made as it was being consumed every rotation. I wouldn’t call this high end sushi, but it was ok/good. This place is a great conversation and FB/iG/tiktok posts, but probably wouldn’t go there again on an empty stomach.

This place was so fun. Love the conveyer belt style (we’ve been to Japan and this brings back memories) and the robots bringing waters was an extra touch. The human staff was nice and accommodating. Love the sashimi and most of the rolls (loved the mix of beef rolls into the seafood!), and udon beef bowl!! They also had a matcha flavored caterpillar roll that was so unique and delicious.

Was excited to see a Kura location open up here. I’ve been to the chandler arizona one a few times. Always a good experience with the atmosphere and it’s great for kids due to the robot servers and prizes you can win from eating 15 plated and 25 plates. The interactive screen sends you on a quest. It is nice here but one server didn’t even know what eel sauce/ unagi was but maybe they were new. Seems like a staple must know lol the food as usual though is sub par when it comes to actual sushi quality and presentation. Taste is mediocre as well. You can order something from the screen vs just the belt going around as well. Plan to spend 100 bucks if eating the 25 plates. The nigiri selection is probably the best option here but every piece I had the rice fell apart instantly sadly.
Might come again but if spending the money on sushi go somewhere else. This place is more about just the dining experience.

This is a fun experience, food is pretty good not the best sushi I’ve had but passable. My favorite is to just pick all the nigiri ones they tasted better than the rolls personally. I’d recommend to come for the experience. Plates are pricy tho so it is not somewhere I would come often. Staffs are pretty chill, you usually just order through the QR code that takes you to a site or directly order on the screen above the conveyor belt and pay that way too. I will want to come back again, but I’m not sure if the menu will ever change?

The waitresses are always so nice and the robot too! The system they use to deliver sushi and other items on the conveyor belt is perfect! I loved the carousel that goes around to try the sushi that look good, so convenient! I love that the prices are pretty standard and the specials you can order on the touchscreen above each table. The food is delicious. I got the giant sweet shrimp with umami oil and that was divine, I tried a few others like the golden crunchyroll, and the crispy rice salmon rolls, both of which were good as well. I would recommend the place and has quickly become my favorite sushi restaurant!
