Loved the newly opened location in Pflugerville. Everything I had was very good! However, it was a little bit expensive, even with the 20% opening discount. The main attraction is the way the food is continuously served on the revolving track. The way the reservation system works is great and guarantees no wait for the table.

We have been looking forward to the Pflugerville location to open since we first noticed it was coming a few months ago.
Having gone to a few different locations in Texas, especially the one in Austin, multiple times we were hoping this location would be as good as their other locations.
For a “soft open” it was busier than you might think and we definitely recommend making a reservation via their app.
Despite being busy and being smaller than other locations we have visited, the staff was great! They were friendly, helpful, and professional given the obviously stressful situation.
The food is as good as we have come to expect. We ended up cleaning just under 30 plates which was a record for us!
If you enjoy fresh sushi along with the other items on their menu and the whole conveyor experience then definitely check them out.
We are already looking forward to visiting this location again soon!

Glad I went once, won’t be back unless out-of-town friends & family want to try it.

The concept is fantastic & efficient, including if you order anything not on the main conveyor belt, it is delivered right to your table via a separate conveyor belt.

Service was fine, although their online check-in service for reservations needs some work (the tablet asks for your #, but doesn’t allow your phone number; you’re supposed to enter the reservation # that you recieved 2 texts ago). Host was pleasant even though both parties in line ahead of us were EXTREMELY difficult. She had to explain to both separate parties that walk-ins would only be accommodated as reservations canceled. They also need multiple check-in tablets so those with reservations don’t need to wait 5 minutes to actually get to the tablet.

Food was just ok. Nothing special at all. They have managed to make the menu look more impressive than it actually is by using the same exact cut listed 4 different times based on this one has this oil & that one has that oil. When I get all-you-can-eat sushi, I want a great variety to sample. Don’t waste the xtra $12 on ramen, by the way — it’s about 1/3 the size of any local ramen restaurants & not nearly as tasty (literally tastes like store-bought packaged dry ramen).

Again: glad we checked it out, but will never come back unless friends & family want to try it themselves.

I came here and ate lunch alone, I’ve been to another location before so I’m aware of how it works and I enjoy the sushi.
Although- I was a little disappointed and I’d like other potential customers to be aware. If you see a sign around the screen promoting “the perfect pair” special they no longer honor it. I ordered it thinking I would get that price. But – unfortunately the server let me know they no longer are doing that special.
Even though, on their website it is listed to be available until March 31. (today is the 3rd)

If it’s not available at least take the signs down..

Other than that the sushi and experience is nice.

Opening night was crowded-as expected-but the service was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly. It was our first time visiting Kura, and we had a great experience. We sat at the revolving booths, tried a variety of small plates and ramen, and I even got a prize!

Highly recommend downloading the app and making a reservation-don’t assume you can just show up and get in. Also, be kind to the staff. We unfortunately witnessed a guest having a meltdown because he couldn’t get a table, and the disrespect was unreal. It costs nothing to be a decent human.

Came back one week later because the food is amazing. My grandkids love the robot that serves the drinks. Ivan was super helpful too. It is a great experience and so easy to choose what you want.
