Excellent sushi and nigiri for prices you pay. Everything is served in small amounts, letting you either sample many different dishes, or have many plates of just your favorites. While the sushi is normally sent around on the belt, you can order specific dishes and have them quickly sent to your table. It’s a great place for a quick lunch or dinner with friends.

I would like to preface by saying that I’ve been to Kura and this review is strictly of my DoorDash order. This food left much to be desired. The presentation of the Ramen was great, but my sushi however did not survive the drive. The ramen soup was warm so the noodles never quite softened. Didn’t receive chopsticks with the sushi… It shouldn’t matter if you dine in or order out, the quality should be the same. I’ll never DoorDash this again

I have mixed feelings about my visit. On one hand, the food was absolutely amazing, every dish was a 10/10. However, the seating process was incredibly frustrating. I was a party of one looking for a spot at the bar, yet I watched multiple larger groups who arrived well after me get seated at tables immediately. It felt like being a solo diner made me a low priority for the staff. I eventually got a seat, but the long wait despite others being jumped ahead of me left a sour taste. Go for the food, but be prepared to advocate for yourself if you’re dining alone.

Cutest place to dine in Novi this holiday season!

This is our first revolving sushi experience in the USA and we had a great time.

We came here for the Kirby collab which is currently on all Kura locations until the end of January. We absolutely loved the decor and the experience, the only drawback is we didn’t get the Kirby capsule toy after our meal.

Reservations can be done thru their app and you get coupons for future visits via the app as well.

This is one of my son’s favorite restraints. I highly recommend this restaurant for the experience itself. It has a very futuristic atmosphere. A robot delivers your drinks. A conveyor belt goes around the entire restaurant and when you see something you like, you just grab it. When you finish your dish, you slide your plate into the slot at your table which counts your plates for the end total. Depending on how many you eat, you will get a fun little surprise. Highly recommend this place!

Pretty cool experience at Kura sushi! There was definitely a wait on a Saturday and signage for the check in kiosk would be a big help. I also think a sign in on their website would be great. Once we got a seat though we had a great experience. The revolving sushi bar was unique for us and would make a fun date night. Your order does come out quick and everything was correct. Food is definitely pricey for the amount you are getting. This spot is more about the experience than value. We enjoyed all our rolls and the Taiyaki dessert. Overall a cool experience, and I would go again, this just wouldn’t be my go to sushi spot for the cost and wait times.

I recently celebrated my birthday at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar with my wife, son, and sister, and we were all genuinely impressed. The restaurant exceeded our expectations in every way. The dining area was spotless and well organized, and the service ran smoothly throughout our visit.

The food was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and prepared perfectly. We especially enjoyed the fun and unique conveyor system for delivering plates. It added a playful and interesting twist to the meal and made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We had a great time and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Jayson was excellent! We had amazing time enjoying all of our Kura favorites (especially the seared salmon with miso cream cheese)! Super fast service – would highly recommend checking this Kura out!

Definitely a good spot if you’re a huge sushi nerd. They charge by the plate so be prepared to come with friends or come hungry if you’re by yourself. The sushi is fresh and delicious, and if it’s not your thing, they serve other options as well, such as vegetable tempura and plenty of different ramen styles. This’ll probably become my once a month treat! I went on a Friday around 1:30, and it was quiet with a few other guests, but definitely call ahead if you mind/don’t mind noise.

Previously we had a great experience, however, yesterday (12-12) was a nightmare. 25 minute wait even with a a reservation, then we find out the ordering screen at the tablets were down so we had to use a piece of paper at our tables (and never got another one, and they didn’t have enough pens at first). The plate “drop” were all broken so you couldn’t dispense your plates or get any prizes. You could tell that the staff were trying their best but it was just total and utter chaos. I’ve been there once before and had a great time, but if this was my first experience I would not be back – I might give it one more try, not sure. If you can’t run as designed why enough be open? (I guess money is worth more than a bad experience).

Ohh, and cross your fingers you don’t get one of the tables next to the front door or you get the fun experience of being blasted with cold air and the door slamming closed all night while people line up to wait for a table because they have no waiting room.
