Such a hidden gem in San Diego for authentic Chinese food: their dumplings and pan fried pork buns are so flavorful and definitely handmade, and I always order the stir fried rice noodle. Where the environment is lacking, the food most definitely makes up for. It feels like I’m eating in my Nai nai’s kitchen!

Good bao and dumplings here. Black vinegar lovers unite! Wish I had room for the beef noodle soup.

Excellent food and service. Shout out to Ulysses for great service and patience with us deciding what we wanted. Food was excellent. We had Dan Dan noodles, Beef Noodle soup, steamed dumplings, potstickers, egg fried rice , cucumber salad and Taiwan fried chicken.

We love this place, definitely a hidden gem in Vista. We love the green beans, the Dan Dan noodles, and green scallion pancake- we get those three every time we go. Other than that we always try a couple of different things. The potstickers are great and so are all of the dumplings- you can’t go wrong. It’s best to order family style.

People are saying their noodles are pretty good but I wasn’t really impressed by the beef noodles I ordered. Gotta give credit where credit is due – the beef was above average, but the rest the bowl were average at best. However, I would highly recommend the Taiwanese fried chicken. Super large portion and tastes awesome. Very good for sharing among friends and family if you’re dining as a group. I’m lukewarm on revisiting, but still I would be interested in trying out some of their other offerings some time in the future.

Good dumplings at a fair price. I’m happy to have this option for something fresh and tasty. No frills. Just delicious hand made food from the far East.

An absolutely delightful experience. You get to watch as they put the meat and pinch out the bao or dumplings. We had the crab and pork mix. That was the special kind that has soup inside as well. As well as the condensed milk, buns, fried chicken, and pork and cabbage mix. All of it were great. Good quick service with fast turnaround on the food. Male and female bathrooms.

I would absolutely go again. My kids loved it and so did my husband and I.

I was excited since this place says they make their own noodles. Well, the soup dumplings and scallion pancake were really good. Probably the best soup dumplings ive had so far. However, the entrees were alright. We had the Dan Dan Noodles which were pretty good over all. The noodle soups however didnt have much flavor or protein for the price. I wouldnt recommend them. The noodles themselves were thick and springy so it was a plus. Overall, average meal, not sure if id come back.

Not the same.
Used to be the best noodles we’ve ever had. Did not taste handmade. The restaurant looked dirty and rundown. We ordered items and did not receive them. We won’t be coming back. Super disappointed.

I was hoping to really like Kung Fu Noodle.

Tip:
Order at the counter then have a seat. This is not a full service restaurant. Get your own water on the left side of the register.

Nice size restaurant with a few tables that can accommodate larger parties. (More than 4)

Service is not one of their strengths. so The girl at the front counter does not smile and stands there the entire time other than to help with clearing tables.

Food:
Taiwanese Fried Chicken
Dan Dan Noodle

The Dan Dan Noodle was good and had great flavors. The chicken was bland and the sauce was meh.

I’d like to return and try the XLB and other dumplings.
