I was craving Thai food and found this spot. So let’s see if they’re pretty good eh or ew. I got their crab ragoons, curry puffs, and chim gai zap to try. The crab ragoons were perfectly crisp, creamy, and not oily. Paired well with the sweet and sour sauce given. The curry puffs had a super beautiful flakey pastry and were stuffed with like this sweetly spiced mashed potato. And the chim gai zap MNM. Lightly crisp, tender, savory, spicy, slightly tangy chicken with onions and bright pops of basil. Deliciousity. Paired very really with the rice. Everything here worked together really well and was yummy. This place is pretty good.

Chim gai zap $15.95
Ragoon $12.95
Curry puff $10.95

I called and asked why they recommend for lunch. They recommended the Chim Gai Zapp. Chim Gai Zapp is the peak of Thai cuisine. It is both spicy and sour with an amazing flavor that makes you want to keep eating. I also ordered the Crab Ragoon. The Crab Ragoon had great filling and was well worth the price! It makes perfect sense why this place is packed for lunch! Come and try it. You won’t be disappointed!

This is one of those little hole in the wall places that makes some bomb food! First time going and the food speaks for itself. It was delicious, full of flavor, and quick service. It’s a small place overall, the interior has room for at most 20 people and the small outdoor space probably another 15-20. The service was great and very friendly. We were served our appetizers within the first 5 minutes of being there and our main dishes maybe another 10 minutes later. The gyoza was great! My girlfriend had the Garlic & Pepper Beef which was great too, but my plate was so much better! I got the Braised Pork Hock which was incredible, the pork was so soft and the sweet & sour sauce they gave you was delicious! Will be going back!!

Quick and easy service. Lots of good and beverage options. Fresh taste and smells all around. Definitely want to check this place out again. Great place for lunch time or anytime as long as their open.

We wanted to like this restaurant so badly, but unfortunately it fell short.

Roti – nice curry sauce, small portion, was fresh but part of the dough was uncooked.

Red curry with tofu – curry was thin but good flavor. Tofu pieces were huge, you could still see the indentations on the tofu skin from where it was removed from the packaging. Did not seem like much care was placed into this dish. Two pieces of pepper with a ton of shredded bamboo shoots, no other vegetables at all.

Thai ice tea – too sweet

Spicy pork with basil – best dish we had. Flavorful, good sauce, decent sized portion.

$58 after tip and tax was too much for this meal, especially in a city with so many Thai options. Next!

We came here because a friend was in the area and we saw videos of this place online that made it look really good. While the service was genuinely friendly, unfortunately, that was the only highlight of our visit.

The food was disappointing. We ordered the Pad Thai, which, like many reviewers mentioned, had an odd yellow color and didn’t taste authentic. It was okay at best, but definitely not what you expect from proper Pad Thai.

We also tried the Yum Wai Wai, a stir-fried noodle dish. It was $15 but felt more like a $1 dish that I could make at home. It used cheap instant-style noodles that turned mushy when cooked, and ground chicken—nothing fancy, just the kind you can buy at the grocery store for $1.99 /lb. The flavor wasn’t bad, but the texture made it hard to enjoy.

My friend got the Pad See Ew, which she found bland and overly soft. She couldn’t finish it. Overall, we all agreed that even more casual spots like Thai Purple in SGV served better food than this.

Always good with super friendly service! I enjoyed the gai zapp, my mom enjoyed her wonton, the pad Thai is legit, as is the flavorful khao soi. We’ve had a lot of things here and they’re all good.

The rice and fried rice was horrible/mushy. The noodles had no taste. Everything was worse than before. And we had to use the restroom… They said they have no restroom in the restaurant. Is that even legal?

Best Thai Food I’ve Ever Had! Friendly staff and fast service. Crab Rangoons = fantastic, Roti = delicious, Curry Puffs = Savory, Pad Thai = EPIC. No joke, best Pad Thai in LA. 5 stars all the way, a must visit if you’re in the area.
