We went there for a birthday celebration as a family on weekend. The restaurant is very well run. It is clean and well organized. The waiting stuff is precise and unobtrusive. The food was delicious! Everything was prepared exactly as we ordered and prepared well.
I don’t think this place will be in our regular rotation as it is a bit on the expensive side but it is perfect for a celebration!

The ambiance of this place when you enter is very nice. The music is on a loop that starts being repetitive very quickly. The service was ok, but it didn’t feel like they made a real effort. The food was ok but on the bland side. I had the grilled seabass in lemon butter with spinach and shiitake mushrooms. It was a good sized portion and the fish was perfectly grilled. However, the lemon butter was about 0.5 teaspoon for the whole meal and more a decoration than really to enhance the taste. If there had been more of it, it might have actually given a nice taste to the otherwise very bland meal. My husband had king lobster roll that was meant to include crab meat, but had imitation crab meat instead. At a price point of $27 for the roll that was rather disappointing. Overall a rather disappointing experience that could have been so much better with a little effort from the chef and the wait staff.

Weekday lunch date with a couple of friends. Not the first time I’ve had food from here. A couple of us opted for specialty sushi rolls and the other person went for a lunch box (good value as it comes with soup/salad, rice, shumai, tempura, sushi) as well as the main choosen item). The food came out pretty quickly and was fresh and very good. My Outa Control Roll was a noteworthy mention – good portion size and very tasty. The dining room has lots of seating as well as space at the bar. I think they are used to people popping in quickly for lunch, so service was not really attentive.

Kumo Sushi is a must-visit! The food is fresh and delicious, with beautifully prepared sushi and flavorful dishes. The service is top-notch, and the owner’s warm hospitality makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend for an amazing dining experience!

As a frequent diner at Kumo, I always enjoy the experience. Food is always great and while it take a a bit to come out, to me it signifies it is always fresh and worth the wait.
The only downside at times is the lack of waitstaff. Kumo tends to be pretty busy at all times so expect to wait a few minutes until a server is able to take your order.
Pro tip: Sit at the bar.

Kumo is our go-to spot, where it doesn’t break the bank like other sushi restaurants. This is a good quality sushi that will satisfy your craving or if you simply enjoy sushi. We loved this establishment from the first time but the down side was the service as he was non existent. This time around I had low expectations cause it was V-day and pretty busy. But the server (he could be the same one from previous) exceed my expectation in which he was attentive and elevated our experience there. Okay, onto the food and that we had a full course meal; Miso soup for the crisp weather, and shrimp shumai. Our personal favorite sushi rolls: Salmon Skin and Spider roll, Philadelphia roll, and Salmon&Avocado Roll. I highly recommend the Spider Roll cause the soft shell crab was fried to perfection
Side note: they do offer gluten free soy sauce and what’s not pictured is fried rice made with that soy sauce on request.

Holy Moly!!! I haven’t had sushi this good in so long! Came for their lunch menu – very extensive – and had a spot at the bar. Ambience, service, and food is top tier! Goes to show you don’t have to go the city for a great dining experience.
