Service was fast and congenial. The food was average, not great, not bad. The dinner room was decent. Clearly some sort of fast food place in a previous life. The music playing over the speakers was terrible. More appropriate for a night club than a dining room. They did accommodate me by turning it down, which I appreciated.

I’ve been eating at Kumo since they opened and have always loved it, although last night I got the steak hibachi and was severely disappointed. Hardly any steak, no flavor, and the sauce wasn’t wasn’t even properly mixed into the rice. I was so disappointed and sad because I had been craving it.

I’ve been here several times. You go in & order at the desk. Everything here is self serve. After you order & pay, you’ll fix your drink & get any sauses you may need/want. They aren’t labeled but that would be helpful and then pick your place to sit. The food is brought to you and it’s always hot & fresh. I really enjoy the food here, but this last time wasn’t as good as the first times. The bathroom has always appeared clean and the restaurant in general all appears clean, but the tables always feels sticky. I know it’s just the way those types of tables always feels and not necessarily anything on them. It’s either the material used for the table or cleaner used to clean them. All in all I really enjoy going there for an affordable lunch for the amount of food.

My takeout hibachi chicken with fried rice was pretty good, but the chicken was tough and overcooked a little. I like the rice though! The food was served very quickly, and the price point was good for the portion they gave me! Pretty nice aesthetic on the inside for this type of restaurant.

I just want to say, I love the service and the food! Tonight we came in to celebrate someone’s birthday and they were so kind and the food was amazing. And not one time have they ever messed up an order! Wonderful place, wonderful people, delicious food!
