Best espresso shop that I have visited in a long time. They know how to do it all correctly. Fun seasonal drinks plus the standards. The breakfast sandwich from the kitchen looked delicious. Will return whenever I am in the area. Any wait is 109% worthwhile. Friendly staff.

I have been wanting to try the coffee here for a while and today while my wife ice and I were near downtown Vacaville, we decided to stop in for some coffee. Attalus Coffee is located in the corner of the funky 5 way intersection as you enter downtown from Merchant St. There is street parking and a couple parking lots nearby, so parking is not an issue. It’s a cozy coffee shop with a handful of indoor tables to sit at and a table with a couple chairs out side for you to enjoy your coffee at. The employees working were very nice and helpful. The gentleman who took our order was very patient while we decided what to order. He was knowledgeable about their offerings and describe/answered our questions about the coffees. I decided to order Black Sage Honey Latte (cold) and my wife ordered the Wildflower Latte (hot).

They can make you coffee order both hot or cold. The Black Sage Honey Latte had a hint of honey, but I did not really taste the black sage and there was a fragrant smell/taste of the orange zest that was on top of the coffee. The Wildflower Latte had a very fragrant smell of wildflowers, but when you drink it, the strong fragrance did not translate to the drink, just a hint of fragrance. Both of the coffees tasted good, not overpowered by the flavorings and the coffee itself was not motor oil strong. If you like very dark tasting coffee, what we ordered is not for you.

Overall, we enjoyed our drinks and would comeback again, particularly to try their seasonal offerings.

Without a doubt this is the best coffee shop in Solano county!
Not only do they roast their own beans they also have other guest roasters on the menu and bags for purchase. When I visited they had Hydrangea (Berkeley), Dune (Santa Barbara), Mae ( Portland), and Naysayer (Napa). I purchased a pour over from Hydrangea which was excellent and I also tried their drip coffee from their own beans which was top quality. Kevin guided me through the menu and also told me about the shop. Amazing service and coffee.
If you care about the quality of your beans there is no other place that comes close to it within a 20 mile radius.

Kitchy little coffee shop. Drinks and pastries were good.
Barista is a perfectionist so DO NOT go if you are in a hurry. One guy making one drink at a time means you will wait.

I’ve been here before but it was always too crowded to talk to the staff for more than a moment. A little slower today. The guy at the counter was so nice and knowledgeable. Gave me sound advice on what to drink and he pulled the perfect espresso. I had the avo smash to eat as well. I loved it! A side note I did a little ear hustling as he gave advice to someone buying beans for home use. Sound advice, and you could tell the passion for what he does. Great job Attalus!

Love this place. I’ve had seasonal drinks and regular lattes on the menu they haven’t disappointed. I tried the long black coffee also which I have only found when I visit Australia, you enjoy if you take your coffee black. I’ve tried their breakfast sandwiches and they are delicious. This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the area, they are closed Sundays.

Most friendly service ever. I got a flat tire
and ended up in front of this coffee shop. A very nice worker asked me if i was ok and needed anything like water as i was outside. he said if i needed anything to let him know. i came inside to charge my phone and he let me sit in here without buying anything. I never been here before but they are beyond friendly. as i was sitting he gave me a free lemonade and told me to have a good day because i was stressed !

I ordered a double shot of espresso over ice with a splash of vanilla syrup, then added a protein drink to it—and it turned out great. If you’re a fan of strong espresso and actually enjoy the taste of coffee, I highly recommend this spot. Even with the added liquids, the coffee flavor stayed bold and rich. While the barista and server could have been a bit more attentive, the quality of the coffee definitely made up for it.

Excellent vibes, friendly service, & great creative drinks. There’s a small but mighty brunch and pastry selection, both savory options were delicious!

5-star experience across the board for an artisanal coffee shop! Great flavors, friendly service, exceptional quality.

Please note that this isn’t a grab and go place so don’t get anxious when your coffee isn’t ready immediately – they operate on one espresso machine, which means when its busy, orders gets backed up. Hoping they can add another machine soon so they can stay open and growing!!
