I love this restaurant. I did hibachi last time and the regular restaurant this time. Both were delicious and a great experience. I usually do mixed drinks but being pregnant, I tried the virgin strawberry daiquiri – I’ve never had such an amazing daiquiri! It was so delicious. We started with the rock shrimp (it was good- some had the tails still so watch out). And then I had spicy tuna rolls with a side of rice. Everything was very good and very reasonably priced. The waiter was also the bartender but he multitasked very well. Great experience!

Ok, I’m going to be as fair as I possibly can. First please note the 1hr wait that most speak about is true. We sat at a mixed table of 9ppl arrived for a reservation at 7:30. The chef arrived at the table 8:47pm. For Hibachi he was nice however the tricks well missed the mark. The server showed up twice to drop the salad and than the check. Be weary of the floors they are very slippery. Automatic tip added to the bill which may be why they simply don’t care. If you have allot of time to spare try it otherwise there are excellent Hibachi restaurants in the area! Skip this one

Had a great time! Very last minute trip, and I had never been before! We did the hibachi and it was a fun experience. You get A Lot of food, and it’s delicious. The chef puts on a fun show while preparing your food. Waitress was great at making sure our drinks were full and our empty plates were taken away.

I usually go for happy hour which is usually upbeat with good drinks and roll specials. This visit I had hibachi. The hibatchi service was a bit slow but once the the cook started everything flowed with the temple a nice experience.

came in to eat at the restaurant, not the Hibachi section. Tables were not far from the bar, which was noisy. Music wasn’t overloud, but wasn’t quiet either.

Tonight we had VERY SLOW service. Very slow. But the cook chef was excellent…..Great service. Food excellent. it helped we were late and sat alone. we had our own private chef. He was great with our 7 year old to be. What a difference. the food was prepared better then other hibachi. They include rice and lo mein noodles for same price. my old review… I would love to give 5 stars but the service was slow and poor. Understaffed and unfriendly at times. Criticism of food regarding the salad lettuce not being chopped and they watered down the dressing. That was a month ago. we returned. not sure why. the service was worse. the KID taking drink orders couldn’t answer a question on what beer was on tap. He said I am too young to drink. I don’t know. The lettuce in salad was bad. we were at a table with 11 already then they slid a side table of 3. the cook not chef was cooking for 14. lots of butter and garlic. chicken over cooked. filet over cooked. service took forever. Sadly service men’s more then food. If they can’t hire employees they should really shut their doors until they can

Love going to Kumo 27 on weekend evenings when they have live music and Karaoke. The atmosphere is very inviting and everyone is welcoming to all who show up. The sushi is delicious and the menu is diverse with other items such as Pad Thai and Udon.

Loveddddd their hibachi! Too good! The shrimp and scallops were 9/10! I would definitely prefer their fried rice over the noodles

I recently ordered take out and when the lady handed it to me she said “hold it from the bottom.” I grabbed the bag from the handle and about to secure the bottom of the bag when the flimsy bag broke. The food was all over the floor. I asked the lady to get someone to help clean it up. The man came out yelling at me shaking his head saying over and over “She told you to hold it from the bottom!” First of all the bag they used is super thin for two hibachi dinners, sushi, salad and a soup! And second of all, he was so unprofessional scolding me like I was some kid who did something so wrong. It really wasn’t that serious for the man to be so angry. I told him it wasn’t necessary to raise his voice, he can keep the food and I will NEVER coming back there again. What happened to treating customers with respect? In this trying time we live in, what happened to kindness. This is what I get for trying to support small businesses and in fact have been supporting this place since it was ShoGun 27. I wish them luck and hope they improve their customer service for the future.
