So I recently attended a wedding in Alamosa CO. Where I met the owners of Kulina Lani bakery. They had a Jalapeno cheddar bread that is absolutely to die for. My only regret, is this is all I have left. I’m currently in Telluride Co and in 2 days I’m driving to Grand junction to get more before my flight home. Simply awesome!
…. Just an up date , this place is amazing. Ended up buying 4 loafs of bread and a breakfast sandwich. You can taste and feel the top quality ingredients in everything you eat. A must stop if you’re in Grand Junction !

Popped into Jitters to get a chai tea latte and as I was leaving a gentleman approached me and asked if I had been to the bakery across the parking lot. I said no, I didn’t even know there was a bakery across the parking lot. He said I had to go there to get something delectable to have with my tea. I had a few minutes to spare so I thought why not?
When you walk into Kulina Lani Organic Sourdough, your senses are mesmerized by the smell of fresh baked bread, cinnamon, vanilla and other scents of deliciousness which immediately waft over your entire body.
There were so many insanely beautiful treats, that it took me awhile to decide what to get.
As you can see from the pictures, there are multiple choices for bread, cookies, breakfast items, muffins and more.
I ended up getting a loaf of cranberry walnut, sourdough bread, ginger cookies, oatmeal cookies, and a couple of breakfast bites. I’m not usually a fan of walnuts however in this bread they were delicious!
The ginger cookies had just the right amount of spice and were a tasty addition when dunked in my chai tea. Needless to say they were gone before I made it back to my car.
The bakery is small, and was packed with customers! The staff was hustling and bustling to serve every guest waiting in line. They were also extremely friendly and took time to answer my questions. This is my new favorite bakery in Grand Junction, Colorado. I highly, highly recommend you stop in here the next time you are in town or just need something to dunk in your coffee. Kulina Lani is just off of North avenue and 7th, in the little shopping area that has Zoup and Mama Reese, with the added bonus of Jitters Coffee kiosk in the parking lot.

My wife and I went there to purchase 2 hallah loafs for Hanukkah. We asked if we can place an order and pick them up the next day. They responded and said they don’t advance orders we even offered to pay for them and that said no. They said come in early at 6am and it’s first come first serve. I was there the next morning waiting for them to open the door. I ordered two loafs of Hallah, and they told me they were saved. They can give me one. I said we were there yesterday. I told them what they did was wrong. She threatened to call the police saying I was harassing them. Never again will we step foot, or patronize that establishment.

Amazing sourdough bakery. They have a variety of pastries and bread loafs. If you love sourdough, this is the place to go. I purchased the olive sourdough bread loaf for my family and it was gone immediately. Definitely a good place to check out if you are looking for local sourdough.

This is one of my favorite local businesses here in Grand Junction. They have the best sandwiches, though they do sometimes run out of them. Their bread is great. Their employees are friendly and know my son and I by name now.

Kulina is amazing. I first had their bread at devil’s kitchen and knew I had to check it out. We went one day and got a loaf of bread and a breakfast sandwich. The breakfast sandwich is probably the best in town and is amazing. The food was so good we ordered pizzas for the next day. We tried all of the different pizzas and they all were very good. The breakfast pizza is probably the best and definitely worth checking out.

Absolutely the best bread in Grand Junction if not Colorado! They make everything from scratch. Most people who can’t have gluten can have their breads. They also make different pastries and breakfast sandwiches. I sampled the Rosemary bread and it was amazing. I got a personal pizza with the best crust I’ve ever had. I got the Organic Sourdough Jane Pullman Loaf. I’ve never had a bread so luscious and soft. Not sure I can buy any other bread ever again. Not to mention the croissants were melt in your mouth.

I was blown away by how good everything was!!! I’m a pastry chef who has been looking all over CO for some good sourdough laminated pastries and FINALLY found it! The guava pop-tart was pure perfection. As someone who grew up in Maui I was stoked to see someone using Guava! Tasted just like the guava butter I grew up with. After we ate the pop-tart in the car we went back and bought 2 more. The chocolate croissant was great and we bought a vegan chocolate donut which was so moist and balanced! All the flavors were great. Not too sweet with an amazing sourdough taste. Y’all made my day!! (:
