I wanted to post photos with my last review and forgot. But the food was so pretty and so fresh! We loved it! Yes there was a little longer of a wait but if my food comes out tasting as good as this did I’m willing to wait. I was also not expecting to have as much food as we did when we got it! And honestly they are faster than Texas roadhouse. I’d much rather come here!

TLDR: Atmosphere was nice but the volcano drink that didn’t contain tequila contained a lot of salt rendering it nearly undrinkable, the chef we had did not serve what we asked for after confirming twice, and the meal in general was overcooked i.e. crunchy rice and noodles and tough seafood.
This was our first visit to Kuji, so we expected it to be on par with any other hibachi steakhouse.
We ordered and split the KUJI VOLCANO (Coconut rum, blue curacao, triple sec. bitters, pineapple juice, and sprite) which we enjoyed at first, but found it difficult to drink because it was served with the tiniest coffee stirrer straws, and since the drink didn’t contain any tequila, we incorrectly assumed that the white crystals at the top of the volcano were sugar crystals, only to find after mixing a substantial amount into the drink that it was salt… we left half of it untouched because it was so bitter and salty.
We ordered the CRAB STUFFED JALAPEÑOS (Jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese, crab salad, steamed shrimp topped with chili sauce and sesame seeds) which were tasty and the best part of the meal there during our visit.
We both ordered the LOBSTER & SHRIMP as our entrees. ALL DINNERS INCLUDE:
Onion soup, a green salad, grilled noodles, seasoned grilled vegtables, yum-yum sauce, ginger sauce and steamed rice (fried rice at hibachi). One of us ordered our rice with no egg (intolerance) and confirmed it with the chef twice before he started making the food. The first thing he made was the rice, all of it with egg, and when we said “oh, no egg”, he acted perturbed that he would have to make another rice . Not sure if that threw him off, because I’ve never had crunchy hibachi rice, but this rice was hard and not delectable. The noodles were cooked similarly- very hard and over cooked, as well as the poor, shriveled lobster (as you can tell from my photo and video).
I try not to complain, especially about a place I’ve never visited before, but if this is the general experience that everyone else has here, I wouldn’t recommend coming here and I do not plan to visit again.

Drove 2 hours to go to the casino and ended up not wanting to eat at the casino so went down the road to this restaurant. And oh my goodness am I glad I did!!!! The presentation of all the meals were amazing!!! And the sushi was to die for! We even had the best waitress even with her being the only one working the floor. So impressed! Will definitely be returning.

Ugh! I wanted to love it but could barely get through one visit. First let me say the guy cooking our hibachi was super fun and nice. The service was non existent – never asked anyone if they wanted refills, brought me my bill without asking if anyone wanted dessert, and never cleared soup and salad dishes. The place was dirty (like we were swapping plates to try and get a clean enough plate to eat on). The chairs were shaky, the table was sticky. The food was decent – standard hibachi fare – with noodles. And in a place like this you should really specify what’s vegan or vegetarian and make those options clear. I took my two kids, one of their girl friends and my wife. One is vegan, one vegetarian and one pescatarian. There was no discussion about what could and could not be used with the tofu. I’d like to say we’ll be back but I don’t know if they’ll be open that long. Also they were out of sushi – they lost a lot of money on our table! One of the pictures shows how much water was in the bottom of the salad.

I took my girlfriend to Kujis for her birthday. Percy, our waiter was above and beyond helpful. He was not overbearing but was there when we needed him. He was extremely kind and even gave my girlfriend a free dessert. Jose was our hibachi chef and he didn’t hold back anything. He was delightful and extremely fun. The food was cooked perfectly and the portion sizes were extremely large. As with all restaurants similar to this its pricey but well worth the money. I would encourage anyone looking for a good time, good food, and an original date idea to visit Kuji.

We came in on a Thursday night for hibachi, not knowing what to expect from the other reviews. We were very satisfied with the food and service! Taylor was a joy to have wait on us. She was attentive and had a genuine smile. The hibachi chef was entertaining and made an excellent meal with generous portions. We probably took more home than what we ate. The sushi is great. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely the worse hibachi I’ve ever had. There practically are no vegetables, the fried rice is just rice soaked in soy sauce. I asked for a medium rare steak and got beef jerkey that was cold. The waitress did take it back and presented something that was eatable. Customer Service is outstanding but I would never come back for the food.

The staff was very friendly and outgoing! Our chef was amazing and very understanding of our groups gluten-free and shellfish allergies. The food was yummy. Reason for 4 for service, we had our fried rice on our plate before we got our salads and soup (that’s not typical), feedback for the staff. Overall, great experience!

Came here for sushi and was not disappointed! The rolls were fresh and delicious! Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. The kids menu had a ton of options compared to other sushi restaurants, and the portions were absolutely huge! Will definitely be back!

The experience was incredible. Very funny chefs. We did not recieve over half of our order though 🙁 When I mentioned it to server she took everything off my bill and discounted what was left.. but we left hungry. I would have rather had our food! Even late would have been better than leaving hungry. 2 stars for the chefs only!
