Truly a hidden gem. The food was delicious and the owners were super friendly. They were testing a new menu item and let us try it for free just to hear our thoughts.
Pricier than other places, but the portions are generous and everything tastes great.
My favorites were the sour curry and Branzino over noodles.
Will definitely be coming back!

Kub Kao is a great addition to Greenpoint. I loved the pomelo salad with fresh, sweet pomelo tossed in a spicy, punchy sauce and sweet crispy shredded coconut and cashews . The boat noodle soup was perfect with a deep, rich, slightly sweet and spicy broth and tender beef. Perfect for these frigid temps and will be on my regular rotation. The staff is very sweet, and I can’t wait to come back to try more dishes.

New thai place in the neighborhood did not disappoint!
All the food was delicious and perfectly made.
The calamari was one of the best I’ve ever had. Spicy and tangy with a unique flavor!
No complains on any of the main dishes. Khao soi noodles were great and very spicy!

Okay, let’s talk about this Thai place we just tried. We were that table. You know the one—where the server’s eyes go a little wide when you decide to bypass the “pick two” logic and just point at almost the entire appetizer section of the menu.
In short: It was a glorious, delicious, and utterly justified decision.
We basically turned the beginning of our meal into a full-on culinary parade, and here’s the scoop on the starring acts:
The Fried Wontons: An absolute must-order. These weren’t an afterthought; they were a masterclass in crunch. Each delicate, golden parcel was perfectly crispy and stuffed with a savory-sweet pork filling. With just the right dip in the sweet and sour sauce, they were pure, bite-sized perfection.
And for the main event, the Pad Thai: This was the headliner that absolutely delivered. A massive plate arrived, steaming and piled high with those perfectly chewy rice noodles. It wasn’t cloyingly sweet, but had this incredible balance of tangy, savory, and a hint of smoke from the wok. Topped with plump shrimp, firm tofu, and that essential crunch from crushed peanuts and fresh bean sprouts—it’s the kind of dish you’ll be craving for days.
Honestly, the whole meal was a triumph. From the first crispy wonton to the last glorious bite of Pad Thai, this place knows exactly what it’s doing.

Very clean, bright aesthetic. The noodle dishes contain fish sauce, is not ideal for vegetarians. But have many other options( curry, fried rice, spring rolls) on the menu which are great! Lunch menu is good value for money also.

Delicious Thai food and recently opened. The staff is super friendly and open to feedback as they are in soft opening. They give good recommendations if you’re not sure what to order. They have some of the typical Thai-American takeout dishes but also have some dishes I haven’t had at other Thai restaurants that are great!

This authentic Thai is a gem to Greenpoint neighborhood. I went there for dinner with my friends and every dish was so delicious. Menu had a great selection of appetizers. Crunchy enoki mushroom, the zesty papaya salad was so refreshing, and I absolutely loved the chive pancakes and curry puffs: crispy and flaky yet soft and jammed packed with flavor! My go to is the Massaman curry, and the beef fell off the bone! The flavor profile of curry came out so perfectly that though I was almost full on apps I wanted to inhale the entire bowl. My friend, seafood lover, got this amazing dish of shrimp.
Ambience is calming and mix of sleek and subtle decor and cozy lights. Service is warm – they treat you like family!
