Food: food was great, only deduction was the chicken appetizer was extremely small for the price paid. The pineapple frid rice was really good but pricy at almost $23. About 5 pieces of juicy shrimp were in the dish as well. Kruba cashew chicken was good.

Service: got there as soon as they opened for lunch so seated right away and food was quickly delivered.

Atmosphere: nice but a bit dated. Many of the tables are uneven and no longer sit together flush. Ambiance was nice, Thai decor all around and wooden vibe.

Final impression: very good for a quick lunch in downtown DC and head back to the office. Might be added to a regular rotation in DC lunch adventures.

Went for lunch on Friday as they opened. Service was good, the atmosphere was good, the food was good

It’s definitely americanized (good for those who like that, less good for those who want authenticity).

I enjoyed the Cashew Chicken but wish there was some spice to it. I would have liked a bit more rice, too (personal opinion).

I’ll be back for sure to try more of the menu!

The food was kind of fusion Thai-Pan-Asian food? The restaurant was spacious and bright. I liked this restaurant as a place to sit down and have a nice chat. The food was kind of so-so. The stir-fried was very Americanised and the portion was pretty small.

The taste of the food was so-so. I’m used to Thai food having stronger flavor. Also, this was the first Thai restaurant I’ve been to that didn’t include onions in the basil friend rice. After receiving my food, I asked for onions and was told it would be an ADDITIONAL charge of $4!

The food is rather average. I just spring roll appetizer. They had no flavor really, fried crispy but couldn’t taste what was inside them. Chicken fried rice was alright but unremarkable. For 13.95 the dinner portion was small, much smaller than any Asian restaurant I’ve been to and I’ve been to plenty. Generally portion sizes at Asian restaurants are big enough to share, this was not. The server was decent. The decor is best thing about the place. I doubt I will ever return.

Fantastic! Great Thai food in The Yards. The restaurant is clean and has great atmosphere. The food is so flavorful and the portions are good for the price. We ordered the spring rolls and chicken satay as appetizers and Pad Thai and Cashew Chicken entrées. They also offer take-out.

This gem of a Thai/ Sushi restaurant was an unexpected find but I’m so incredibly grateful I stumbled upon it when walking this evening in the Navy Yard area. The staff were all friendly and constantly ensuring I was doing alright or had everything I needed. The Panang Curry was absolutely devine! Perfect level of heat, bold flavor, and delicious melding of each element. The portion was generous as well.

Only negative/ drawbacks would be not allowing separate checks…because business travels make that necessary when my coworkers and I dine together. Also no refills on sodas/ most of the drinks options…but that’s a solvable problem, though or not the end of the world. Lol

Solid Thai food with a good spicy kick (when asked). The sushi didn’t look great and it seemed overpriced for what you got. Definitely worth it for the Thai food though!

Oh man, great Sushi Thai restaurant at The Yards. Very exquisite art decoration. The wood carvings are amazing. Great tasting food, great location, great customer service at a moderate price. Good for the whole family. I strongly suggest.

I did a takeout of drunken noodles and sushi roll. Yuck. The half the noodles were stuck together with no flavor/sauce seeped in so it was just white sticky rice noodle mess with very small amount of vegetable (mainly just onion). I had tofu for protein and another yuck. The spicy California roll was just a regular supermarket quality roll with glob of watery spicy mayo. Previously fried and then just heated – texture was hard and chewy and again no flavor. I guess I should’ve known when the food came out in exactly 5 minutes after I placed my order that the food was going to be not so good. Don’t bother with this overpriced place. There are so many fine restaurants surrounding this one.
