We ordered carry out and got Chicken pad see ew
Chicken drunken noodle, Chicken hot basil fried rice, Chicken krua Thai fried rice, Chicken masaman curry, beef red curry, and mango sticky rice. So we ordered a lot of food! And all were HORRIBLE. Nothing about this restaurant was authentic, everything lacked favor and taste. It was very Americanized. Drunken noodles and pad see ew is usually made with the wide noddles but these were made with regular fettuccine noddles. The curries tasted like they came out of box. Nothing tastes fresh. I’m honestly so disappointed.
This food was not even thai food….

Arrived at opening- it was cold. They turned the heat on. Ordered hot tea, they brought hot water, two black tea bags, herbal tea and one other tea bag- rather pathetic, especially for a table of 9. After food arrived piece meal, we had to ask for napkins. My massman curry had no peppers but was spicy- I think it was red curry sauce. The 3 peanuts in it tasted rancid. My niece had something from the kids menu with eggs in it, she said it was crunchy ( egg shells). Sadly overall it was not a great experience

Thé atmosphère is really neat. The spring rolls were delicious. But, the edamame was dry and a bit “off”. All the food, except for the spring rolls, was cold. The pad Thai was ok, but a small portion and the noodles were unique.
I do appreciate that everything is easily veganized and the owners are very nice. But, there are tastier places to spend your money.

Nice overall spot. Easy to find with plenty of parking. Food was delicious. Plate has a nice mild but consistent spice topped with the chicken and vegetables all made a perfect combination. Topped with an egg how can you go wrong.

Stopped in today to try something new in the area and was pleasantly surprised. I had looked into this place a few times but wasn’t sure at first. If you’re on the fence, go for it. I started with the Tom-Yum shrimp soup. The unique flavor of spice and sweetness had me drinking the broth. I then ordered the Me Hungry meal, because I wanted to try the fried rice and the chicken satay. The chicken was cooked perfectly, and mixed with the sauce and rice it was filling, but not heavy. Made for a very nice late lunch meal. I also ordered the fried bananas and ice cream, and that was delicious as well. I definitely will be back to try something new next time. I recommend to anyone looking to try some good Thai in the area.

Very disappointed. We just moved here from Washington state which is full of amazing authentic Thai food. We have been looking for 3 months for a great place in York County to no avail. My husband has been picking it up in Harrisburg. I saw this place on my way to my mom’s house and thought it would be great to try it. We always order the same dishes because we like them. Which is Hot basil fried rice vegetable and Thai fried rice chicken. I was excites to eat it when I got home and I couldn’t even stand the taste. It had what I would call undertones of old bay. Too much of some spice was used and completely drowned out the basil. It was also not spicy but just tasted bad. My husband had been working in the yard all day and I told him to not expect the taste of what he wanted, but just use and open mind and think of it as a different dish. Hoping that he could eat it. He tried and took 2 bites. He didn’t end up eating anything but 2 spring rolls. The food my daughters ate had very little chicken in it. Theirs however did have the authentic flavor so that was good.
The photo attached to my review is my husband’s plate from last night. Yes, a whole 16 hours ago because it was gross. We were seriously hoping this place would do it because it is a convenient location for us to pick up on the way home from visiting family. $60 of food in the trash. 🙁 I am not one to leave negative reviews but I could not stomach it and neither could my husband.
I also want to note that the owner’s husband was very nice. He praised his wife’s cooking abilities, which I admire. Definitely a nice family owned business. Just not great food.
Also, I actually never leave bad reviews unless they are warranted. You can see in my local guide history. And, yes…it tasted like old freaking bay. I hate that stuff to begin with. I haven’t had a chance to throw away the boxes in the fridge yet I can bring it back if you want to taste and see for yourself.
I also want to point out that I help people with their reviews for a living and this is not the appropriate way to handle a negative review. People can see your defensiveness is pretty high.

Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the other reviews here. Most of what we ordered wasn’t edible – salty, overseasoned, dripping in sauce. Very light on proteins. The spring rolls were the best of the lot and the cabbage was undercooked and had a wet interior. Not your best option for Thai in York by far.

Absolutely amazing!! Beautiful very clean place well decorated. Husband wife team that make you feel at home. The food is exceptional. Chicken satay and basil fried rice were tied with the best I’ve ever had. Thai tea was epic. If you are within 30/40 miles of this place it’s a no brainer you won’t find better in the area.

I ordered a take out order and enjoyed my food so much that I returned later that day for more! I work at a nursing home near by so for my long shift this food was very convenient and so delicious!

Passing through town on our way to Philly and stopped in for lunch. Probably the most authentic Thai food we’ve ever had and everything was delicious. Drunken noodles, spring rolls, and spicy basil Thai rice. Server was cool; he had so many interesting stories. We will definitely be stopping by on our way back home.
