I was excited to see a new fried chicken option replace the departed KFC from Rockford… and I’m still waiting. This place only sells thighs, wings and legs – and the day we visited they were out of wings. They were also out of half the side options. (And our side got left out of the order.) The chicken itself was past moist to juicy, while the breading seemed less extra crispy and more like bread crumbs. Surprisingly, for just a window inside a gas station, they were doing a brisk business. Maybe others were loving the chicken strips or nuggets? I might be back to try some Halal from Big Bites – sold out of the same window, but I certainly won’t be ordering the chicken again.

They were out of everything can’t understand why they were open other than peddling off old cold dry food hopefully as time goes on they will improve because I did enjoy their perch fish but I couldn’t enjoy anything else and was almost swindled out of sum money but I was paying attention…
