I want to start by saying, this was an Uber Eats order. That is in mind, but none of the review has to do with the delivery (which had its own problems, not the restaurants fault.)
There are three complaints to start. One, the red beans and rice tasted good, but the rice was very undercooked. Minor issue overall, could have been just a one time thing, and it’s only a side, so I may try it one more time, and if it’s the same, I just wouldn’t order it again, no major deal. Two, the biscuits were hard and burnt. They are cheap, so again, not the end of the world, but we just threw them away. It wasn’t worth tasting since it may have made us think more negatively and we wanted to be fair about the rest of the meal.
Three, and the biggest one, we got an 8 piece meal. It’s specified this is “assorted pieces”, so strictly speaking, that is correct. We got 3 thighs, 3 drums, and two wings. Typically, an 8 piece meal is assumed to be 2/2/2/2 of each cut. Us liking the breasts the most, this was hugely disappointing. The restaurant should be a bit more up front, not because they were advertising incorrectly or anything, but that is the typical assumption I believe most people would make.
Beyond that, the flavor of everything was great (bar the biscuits.) Good crispy skin, juicy meat, Mac&cheese was awesome, and the wedges were fantastic. We will definitely try again sometime, but it wouldn’t be something we would crave based on the first meal from here.

Despite being located inside a gas station, she doesn’t let that limit her potential one bit. In fact, her culinary skills deserve a dedicated location of their own!

I placed an Uber order as I have before and this time they forgot parts of the order. I called the store and the male who responded was very rude and unapologetic. When I tried to get the missing parts of my order, about $30 worth of my whole order, the guy on the phone asks me to make another order then either cancel the order once I receive it or dispute the charge. That is not how a business is conducted. Very disappointed at poor treatment they provided today.
Just in case, it was not the Uber driver as when I spoke to the store they acknowledged it was their mistake.
Needless to say, not ordering again from here, and if anyone decides to order, just be assured you will not get anything from the management in the store.

Service was excellent and everyone was super friendly. They told us that they’d give us the best friend chicken we ever ate and they weren’t wrong, the food was great. And the prices are also very affordable. I was surprised at such a great experience inside a gas station. It’s not pretty, but I’d recommend this place for anyone and I’ll be going again and bringing my family out soon!
