Krispy Krunchy Chicken® (KKC), founded in Louisiana in 1989, is a quick-serve solution for convenience stores, truck stops, universities, casinos, and big box retailers across the U.S. Every piece of our chicken and tenders is marinaded in a proprietary mix of mild but oh-so-flavorful spices, then double hand-breaded and fried to golden perfection. We serve it with the best sides around and most every order comes with a little bit of crowning glory – a freshly baked biscuit, generously drizzled with pure honey goodness.
Fast-food eatery specializing in Cajun-style fried chicken, plus wings, seafood, breakfast & more.

The fried chicken was tasty—crispy and golden on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with a Cajun seasoning that gave it a nice kick without being overwhelming. The 29-piece bucket was perfect for sharing, and each piece had consistent flavor and crunch. The mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, while the biscuits were buttery, fluffy, and slightly sweet, making them a great complement to the savory chicken.
The setup was a bit unusual—it’s located inside a gas station, so there’s no seating, meaning it’s really a grab-and-go or takeout experience. The staff were okay, though the main cook did not speak English, which made communication a bit challenging but still managed to get things done. Overall, I found the service a bit rude at times, which detracted slightly from the experience.
In summary, Krispy Krunchy Chicken in Winter Park offers halal, flavorful Southern-style fried chicken with hearty sides and delicious biscuits. The food is solid, but keep in mind it’s a takeout-only spot with minimal service friendliness. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area and craving good halal fried chicken, but don’t expect a sit-down dining experience.
Update : After trying it one 1 piece was fried fresh and the rest was probably sitting all day under the heat lamp . Mac and cheese was a huge no , French fries was dry and I only wanted drum sticks . It is in the gas station so I’m really not surprised .
