Overall I would say you won’t be disappointed. The BBQ is decent and ranks higher up on my list. The pulled pork I feel is the real winner as it comes smoked and dry with no sauce. The flavor alone is amazing. The cornbread is delicious and the Mac n cheese is awesome as well. I will say the seating area inside is not very big at all so either prepare to eat out side or come early enough to get a table. They do have a bar area that is a horseshoe style to sit and drink or eat at as well. The outdoor seating is nice with it being pet friendly. Overall I would say 4.2 stars. The prices are decent for actual real food that was sourced locally and smoked right out front. The only downfall at the moment is the menu is more expansive at the wautoma location as this is limited.

Simply the best barbeque north of St. Louis. The burnt ends are amazing, then you try the melt in your mouth brisket. That smokey flavor is so good. The Greens and cornbread are like Mama’s house back in the day.

Amazing BBQ, I got the ribs and my partner got the pulled pork. Serving size is very generous, and the baked beans are packed with bits of brisket. The potato salad wasn’t as good as the other sides. It needs something to punch it up in flavor. Dog friendly patio, and good layout to order and get food.

Oh sweet deliciousness! Stopped in for lunch. Had the juiciest most flavorful 1/2 chicken and sides- potato salad and fluff. So yummy!!! The meat was delicious. I would go back even to eat a meal of just sides! Beans, Mac and cheese, red potatoes, fluff, potato salad, coleslaw, corn bread (!!!). Highly recommend and will be back again and again!

Absolutely wonderful! I had the brisket – nice smoked, slow cooked flavor. My husband had the chicken. All the sides were great too. The cornbread was the best I’ve had – nice and moist. Beautiful interior and nice outdoor seating. We will be back!

Excellent. Ordered to-go with a half-chicken meal and a meat and two sides meal. The portion sizes are absurd/Texas-sized: could easily feed six people with the two orders.
