Good grub. I had the Krave burger deluxe. Had a big thick patty. Almost too much meat. Needed a little extra flavor in the meat. The French fries could have been cooked a little longer.

We stopped by to have lunch on a bicycle tour on gravel roads from Franklin GA to Auburn AL the day before Thanksgiving during the hours between lunch and dinner while they were preparing for a catering gig and while they were closed. They graciously opened for us and fed us with homegrown cuisine that allowed us to push through the last two hours to Auburn. Highly recommend a visit if you are in Lafayette.

This is true Southern cuisine with an old school diner atmosphere. The new location is very nice and the menu has more to choose from. Everything is clean and everyone is friendly. Serves breakfast and lunch, and some days serves dinner. This is in my top 5 favorite restaurants in Alabama.

My first time eating here and it probably will be my last. I got chicken, rice and green beans and for a drink and Arnold Palmer. The beans were lukewarm the rice was room temperature and my drumsticks was cold which I don’t understand my chicken breast was lukewarm as well! And for $15 you would expect the food warm and with flavor. I love home cooking but I was very disappointed in what I received for a meal. The service was cafeteria style so that’s the reason for the 4 ⭐! I’m not ruling this place out, but I probably won’t be eating there again! Have a great day!!
