We used their catering for our wedding in July 2022 and they far exceeded our expectations! They arrived on time and ready to rock, with smiles and hustle. The pizza is so specially prepared and baked with fresh ingredients. The texture was perfect and it simply tastes amazing! The pizzas kept coming out as soon as the ones before them were finished so there was never an empty pie pan on the table and they were always hot. All of the guests were asking us where we found this pizza place and said that they wanted to go get more from them on their own time and dime. They are veteran owned and operated and where highly professional through the whole process leading up to the wedding and then performed stellar during our bug day. All of the left over pizzas came home with us in pizza boxes! Nothing was wasted. One of the coolest things about it all was that they supplied tiny little glass jars of parmesan and peppers! People took them home as a party favor and Krakelen refused to accept more money for them. We love these guys and will forever remember how great they were on our special day! Thank you Krakelen!

I am SO happy we stumbled upon Krakelen! I was craving pizza the other day, but wasn’t impressed with any pizza we had tried in Albany so far; all very mediocre. Krakelen is a totally different story though! This is high-quality, delicious pizza. If you like wood-fired, thinner pizza with A+ ingredients, this is it.
We got the Italia Spring (but replaced the sausage for onions) and the Krakelen Gold and they were both delicious! We got 10” for both and we shared between 2 adults. Next time, we’ll order bigger pies so we can have leftovers.
The Italia Spring was beyond delicious with the basil, balsamic glaze, mushrooms, olive oil, and cheese blend. Great color and crisp on the pizza. I was in heaven eating this! I definitely want this again.
The Krakelen Gold is kind of what you would order instead of cheese or garlic bread, but note it’s still very thin and more like their pizza than bread. The cheese on this is delicious! It was nice. I think we’ll try the Artisan Cheese pizza next time.

We also got a yummy peanut butter cup cupcake and really enjoyed it.

I’m being honest when I say this is my favorite pizza I’ve ever had. The combination of the local ingredients with the outstanding menu, Krakelen keeps it interesting. And the employees are so outstanding that I felt the need to write my first google review (thanks Wolf u the man) 🙂

We drive by here all the time and when we 1st saw it we decided we would try it someday, but we went there yesterday, and I have to tell you, that barbecue pizza was one of the best pizzas that I have ever eaten. I am not kidding it was so good that I am going to go back and get my family and take them. There was nothing about that pizza that was bad or even mediocre. It was truly delicious! I look forward to my next trip.

I had my first Krakelen pizza today. I’ve tried doing take-and–bake pizza on my smoker at home, I doubt I’ll ever try it again after having Krakelen. Crust was great, the smoke was pleasant but not too strong or bitter. I didn’t have any trouble finishing my pizza though it was my second meal of the night (don’t judge!). The employees seemed happy and were very pleasant as well. I had a great experience – give them a try!

my boyfriend and I moved from Portland and we LOVE pizza. We’ve tried so many places in Albany , which are okay, but never hit the spot. Today was a great surprise stumbling upon this food cart. Delicious thin crust and the price is reasonable. The pizza is NY style and is made with quality ingredients. These gals give other pizza joints in this area a run for there money. Side note, it’s also wood fired, what more could you ask for? I am so thankful after 2 years of living here, I found my ultimate and favorite pizza spot. #zalife

Best pizza in Albany, hands down. Best pizza I’ve had in Oregon, actually. I come here almost every week. You seriously cannot afford to pass through Albany (even on I-5) without stopping in to try this stuff.
Also, the customer service is beyond excellent. Wolf and Lara will go out of their way 100% of the time to make sure you’re well taken care of.
All in all, this is the best food around to cure your bad day.
