This was not what we were expecting, it is just a small sit down place very few tables,you walk up yo counter and order your food like you would at a fast food restaurant. We ordered the Date plate which was plenty of food for me and my husband, the seasonings were good little on the spicy side but it is Cajun food, the crab legs were hard to get the meat out of and all you have is plasticware, the potatos and shrimp were delicious, the sausage was good, and the corn I did not eat but my husband said it had a weird texture,we added a lobster tail, it was not very big for the additional 17.50, but it was delicious. We only waited a few minutes to order, all in all it was OK, but it will not be anything that we would make the drive for again.

This is really hard. I was in during their first week of being open—repeat customer after that. Then life shifted course, so it had been a while since I was in and tonight I was shocked and then disappointed.
The appearance was something one might find in an old gas station, 50 miles from no where, with no expectation of repeat customers. Dirty surfaces abounding. The soda fountain tray had mold growing actively and rusty sticky silt on the counter underneath. Boxes of goods, containers of spice and condiments were scattered here and there.
The menu had been “revised” and it’s hard to follow what is current.
We ordered a Krabby Bucket that was to contain several clusters of crab legs, potatos, corn, sausage and two Texas Toast slices.
The photo demonstrates one, smashed small potato. One half piece of corn, a small piece of sausage and NO pieces of Texas Toast. The crab legs were unremarkable.
As food prices increase, I took the time to write this honest review. I hope and pray that the members of the Cape Community will reap the benefits of some minor improvements that can make a huge difference.

We ordered Date Plate for 2 people, but easily shareable between 3. The quality of the crabs could be improved, the crab legs are not very meaty, but still being the only restaurant in town providing crab legs, its decent. Shrimp, sausage and corns tasted better to me than the crabs. I would recommend it to anyone trying it for the first time.

Hole in the wall spot that is a total sleeper hit! Everything here was fantastic, except the sweet tea but drinks are complimentary anyway. Split the Date Plate and it was more than enough crab legs, shrimp, sausage, potatoes and corn. Everything was seasoned fantastically and very fresh. I also ordered the catfish basket, which is possibly the best catfish I’ve ever had! The fries and hush puppies were delicious as well as the crab rangoon. Highly recommend Krabby Daddy

I took my dad to eat here today for a late Father’s Day lunch and it was really good we had the all you can eat crab. I have allergies to most butter, so I had to bring my own and they were able to accommodate that which was much appreciated. It was quite busy and they were able to keep us without being out of crab for more than a few minutes.
There were only two people working and they managed to keep all of the tables going.

Absolutely a great place to go. We ordered the all you can eat crab and catfish and they never let our plates go empty. Everything is fresh and cooked at the time of ordering. We came on Tuesday as a birthday treat to myself, and holy was it a real treat. We’ll be returning hopefully soon.

I am really DISAPPOINTED at this location (Cape).
Fountain drink machine not working. Only drink option was coke and diet sprite.
Had the fried shrimp basket. I have no idea what batter the put on the shrimp but it was not good.
Doesn’t look like the fryer oil has been changed in awhile from the color of the food.

Service and food were amazing!!! There was a deal with our food that got us 2 free clusters of crab. It was our first time so he offered us free drinks and to try all of the butters. So much for a good price. Such a great place with AMAZING customer service!

After reading the good reviews we wondered if we caught them on a bad day, but this was a very bad experience. Lack of cleanliness. Waited over an hour for the food. Crab was the best thing we got but it was cold. Butter was cold. Meals were brought out with no corn or potatoes. We had to ask and said they ran out. The crab cake was burnt and lacked flavor. Fries and catfish were subpar. The “Mac Daddy” was supposed to have pulled chicken and cajun sauce, came out plain and with 2 chicken tenders on top. Toast was being served with bare hands. There only one person doing all the cooking and serving. She was friendly, but sadly it was too busy to keep up.

The food was fantastic! I came here with my family for my birthday dinner and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owner of the business greeted us outside the restaurant and welcomed us in. It was our first time here and he was very friendly and showed us the menu. He brought us free samples of some of the items on the menu. The crab was so delicious and the lobster was so sweet we will definitely be back.
