Great location… good food but quite pricy
Worth a visit in Summer for a nice lunch/dinner with option of having your feet in the water

I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely top-notch—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish was crafted with care and high-quality ingredients, reflecting true culinary expertise. The service was equally impressive: attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. From start to finish, it was clear that this place takes pride in delivering excellence. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food in a refined, yet amazing view right on the beach. It’s a must when you are in Lebanon.

Every year I end summer with a lunch at Jammal- it’s a ritual.
I just love it , it is on the expensive side (85$ pp) but it’s worth it.
The food no matter what you choose is so delicious (please just stay away from sammourina- fish cold cut, this is the only dish I never liked)
The place is just so cozy and peaceful.

We went to Jammal today for lunch — a group of 6 people — and it was honestly a letdown from start to finish.

The only positive thing about this place is the beautiful seafront view and the fact that you can swim there. Other than that, everything else was a disaster.

All the seafood dishes were completely tasteless, which is shocking for a seafood restaurant. We ordered a variety — calamari, shrimps, fried and grilled fish — and every single one lacked flavor. Even the tabbouleh was disappointing.

The staff were inattentive and slow, we had to repeat our requests multiple times. Service was careless and far from welcoming.

And the prices… absurdly high for what you get. At that price point, you’d expect quality food and decent service — but neither was delivered.

There are plenty of nearby restaurants with the same view and beach access, but with much better food, service, and value. Definitely not coming back.

Jammal is a special restaurant, set on a private cove pebble beach which makes it a unique experience. Excellent spot for lunch and daytime chill by the sea, you can enjoy the food and dip in the sea as you wish.

The food was good but not exceptional, it is mostly seafood focused. Some prices especially for whole fish didn’t make sense at $100 per kg for simple locally sourced fishes seemed excessive. Although, given the setting and excellent service you could somewhat justify it.

It’s a nice vibe, and accommodate bigger groups. The service though is great and very attentive, give it five stars.

Highly recommend for the experience.

My favorite spot in Batroun, not only because of the food, but because it never gets overcrowded. It’s only under reservation, and they only fill the tables they have, no more.
The food has history, the fish is sourced daily from local fishermen, sometimes you find fish you will never find in other restaurants or markets. The service is 5 stars.
Selection goes from raw, to grills- passing by a soup- yes I eat soup in summer too- the fish soup seems to stay there for days, and develop the right tastes of the sea!

It’s this place that you have to really visit if you are in Lebanon, its less than hour drive from Beirut and it offers the best fish and best drinks, although known for its food and beautiful view but dint underestimate their cocktails. Had most of their menu, and all is beautiful and tasty! You can spend a whole day eating swimming snd drinking! Highly recommend

Very very nice location, super tasty food in excellent quality, a lot of home grown and the eggs are from their own chickens. Some tables are placed in the water, so you have a cool down during the meal, great concept! Very nice staff. The beach is well kept and clean. The prices are fair.
