I went in for a light breakfast. I had one egg, a biscuit with gravy and coffee. I thought the biscuit was more to my liking than the McDonald’s flaky no-body type. Overall food was good and fit what I wanted. The coffee ☕ had some body to it, not too strong but certainly not a weenie blend either.
After sitting with my coffee a bit, I noticed one of their menu boards with a listing of ‘homemade pies’. OK, I went for it. I tried the ‘hospitality pie’. Wow. If you have a sweet tooth, this is the one for you! I must say, it was very good. The place appears to be quite popular with the locals. The restaurant is a convenience store, gas station and restaurant combined. The restaurant is open early and closes early.
I will return.
UPDATE: I made a return visit and I was very disappointed that my scrambled eggs order was fried to a crisp! Disappointing to say the least.
Any experienced cook knows better! When not specified, any order of anything should be medium in doneness! Duh.
I wish I had taken a picture of the eggs.

If you’re a hunter or just a person needing a good breakfast this is a great comfortable rest stop. They have all ammo, hunting and fishing gear you need. Food was really good as well. We got the southern sampler.

Friendly service amd the food is excellent. I got the catfish fillet plate special and it was great. You don’t have to hunt for the fish on this plate. Other resturants serve pieces of fish half this size and at a higher price.

Our food was good but we had to wait 60 minutes to get our food. We never really had a waitress just a young girl that told us”well I will take your order because your waitress is waiting on another table. Then we don’t see or hear from anyone for atleast 40 minutes. Then the girl that brought it out wasn’t friendly at all. She literally almost pour my husband’s food on him. We finished up with nothing else to drink. They knew we were not happy but we were nothing but kind. When we were almost done a lady ask if we needed anything. By that time were already done. Not to mention there were folks that came in after us that got their food and was checking out by the time we got our food. Just an over all bad experience.

Stopped in while looking for land and had an amazing experience here. It’s attached to a gas station so the front entrance wasn’t really the entrance. Had to enter through the station. Delicious food and great service. If I move to the area I will definitely be back!

If I could give Service and atmosphere 0 stars I would. Dawn Martin, a “manager” at Kountry Korner was extremely rude to me and my partner and was texting on her phone for a solid minute before she would wait on us causing a line to form behind us. I definitely do not appreciate the rudeness she exhibited and will not be going back anytime soon.
