I thought, Peruvian and sushi? What??
This is an ok place to visit. The food is ok and the location is ok. Ordered the lomo saltado beef and while the beef was cooked to my looking with a little pink, once the food cooled I realized there wasn’t much flavor. Not in the beef or in the fries or the onions and tomatoes. So it tasted a bit bland. Overall ok, rating 6.7/10. The chicken katsu white meat was a good dish. The pasta had a really nice flavor profile and the chicken was fried to perfection. Still, there wasn’t much flavor in the chicken but you do have the katsu sauce that makes up for it. Overall 6.5/10. The location was clean, the staff was nice. I would love to see more “Peruvian” in it. It feels a bit clinical. I wouldn’t go back because it’s far from me and it was just ok.

Twoish decades? Well, at least one. And in restaurant years that is certainly a milestone, for * /the finest/ * Japanese PERUVIAN FOOD. This has to be freshest seafood caught off San Pedro. Now I have tried Helado de Lacuma, or: eggfruit ice cream. Creamy buttery caramel fresh. Pictured are as follows: halibut sashimi, wasabi and ginger, scallops roll NEW ITEM, eel roll with shrimp tempura and chimichurri NEW ITEM, pesto spaghetti enough to share with deep fried breaded chicken katsu, deep fried seafood with Peruvian red onion slaw, and lomo saltado beef tossed with tomatoes onions fries served with rice. For drinks there might be a Sapporo or Asahi, unless you prefer like I do a maracuya passionfruit or lemonade.

Delicious Peruvian restaurant!

It’s tucked away in a cozy strip mall. There is a small private parking lot.
Upon entering, we were greeted by the friendly staff and quickly seated.
There’s a sushi bar with seating as well as plenty of tables.

The ambience is nice and cozy with nice music. It’s not too loud.

The menu has two sections: Peruvian and Japanese. Both offer lots of options. Also has gluten free options.

Our order was prepared quickly and everything was fresh and tasty. The presentation was also nice.

First timers at this restaurant.
Great food, we always check the reviews before going to a restaurant; KOTOSH had good reviews and we decided to check it out, we decided to drive 30 miles to give it a try.
We had ceviche mixto, it was ok, lomo saltado was good, meat cooked at medium, you could taste the flavor, piranha roll, Chupe de pescado was very good, a Sapporo beer and tried the Lukuma icecream all good.
Pamela treated us like kings.
Give it a try guys. $108 for all that food, my wife agreed, all that food somewhere else could have been more than $150.

100 % recommend.

Was in the area and tried Kotosh for the first time, and so glad I did. Service was good and the food even better. An interesting mix of sushi and Peruvian food, but ends up being a unique and flavorful seafood experience. We mixed it up and got a little of both and had a great experience trying new things. For example, the sushi with cebiche sauce was a gamble, but so worth it. Really enjoyed, highly recommend and we’ll be back again!

The food was good – flavoursome and delicious. The portion was quite large as well. The staff was nice and it was not very crowded in the evening.

Been coming here for over a decade. One of the hidden gems in the South Bay. Nothing fancy from the outside and the Interior has gone through a few renovations. Staff is as welcoming as ever and the food is delicious.

My favorite dishes by far here are the Chicharron Mixto Al Ajo and the Tallarin Saltado. The green sauce is amazing here, I swear I almost finish a whole bottle everytime. I put that …. On everything. No joke.

Chicharron is nice and crispy and a good mix of seafood from fish, squid, shrimp, and more. The garlic sauce is delicious. Though sometimes they make it a little too salty for me. But the crispy seafood, garlic sauce, rice, and green sauce to top it off is delicious.

The Lomo Saltado is good, but I personally prefer the Tallarin Saltado. The noodles, onions, beef with green sauce is delicious.

This boast we got the assorted sashimi. Excellent cuts and variety of fish.

If you ever come with a large party, I recommend the chowders as well. Nice and creamy with lots of flavor.

I googled this place that has good ratings and decided to try it out with my gf. She was very happy that they had a vegan option plate. She ordered the tofu saltado and it was delicious. 5/5 tofu..highly recommend this spot.
